Recommendations for 3d software?
I'm looking for reasonably priced software that I can make cool 3d text with. I have xara, but its pretty limited. With xara I have to make the text then dress it up in photoshop, which I'm not opposed to 'adding detail' if I need to, but looking for something a little more powerful than xara. Thanks!

Yeah, you can do a lot more things with text too. I've tried the demo version and was happy with it. Didn't feel the need to buy it since I needed to use it just once.

but the good effects is combination of 3d (maya, xara, 3dsmax,..) with photoshop. is almost impossible to get a good 3d text without apply some photoshop.
