well, examples like rebel's does happen, but it's very rare. From my own experience, even if you get a site indexed with your referral ID, it's showing only few days and then it's get burried.

IMHO removing lot's of sponsors links to the eyes of spiders is much more better in the long run than sponsor site with your ID on google for a few days.

My dino software prog. won't let me do it anyways so moot point for moi.
So and how many sales did you make with your PR? i can say that i have gotten a lot a extra $$ from refcodes that where/are indexed, but i guess having a high PR is more important than making $$.

I'm looking from the other point of view to this. If my site has less "counted" links, that means my links without nofollow attribute has more "weight", and because i'm giving links only to my own sites, that means they get better SE rankings. Why? Well because i believe that 1 link of total 10 in site is worth much more than 1 link of site wich has 100 outbounds.

I haven't made a sale yet. just finished building my 1st traffic trap and am starting on freesites and TGP's. Just trying to do it as well as possible from the word go.

For a couple of other Q's about no follow. It's my understanding that G wants/encourages the use of this tag so imo it appears to be a good idea though I certainly can understand the "simple folk building simple sites idea" and in the long run it may be teh better plan as G is likely to change it's mind at anytime regarding anything. When you think about it, it really is a dumb idea as nothing will be linked before long which kind of defeats Internet idea.

Back to work for moi. looking for the rush of my 1st sale! Wanna bite Harry? lol

it's not about PR, it's only about the SERP's. you make a lot of sales from indexed refcodes, i make a lot of sales from targeted SE traffic.

there doesn't have to be agreement on using nofollow, there are good reasons for and against using it. each webmaster takes his choices with this and many other details.

This thread makes me LOL! There's a time to use the nofollow and times to not. I guess we all have our theories.
