It should be the mods and experienced members best interests to advise folks like this on the correct/legal approach to this biz - rather than ban or send them away with a flea in their ear...

There are two ways of looking at this - (at least).

It's content theft on the one hand. It's free advertising on the other.

That is an image that Playboygirls have given away on one of their FHGs in order to promote their paysite. The Playboy logo and the playboygirls.com url are clearly visible in the bottom right corner of the image. It is therefore a trademarked image which is promoting the Playboy brand.

There is no active link to the playboygirls paysite on the webpage in question. There are other active links to other paysites.

So, the use of this image on this webpage may result in sales to the other paysites via surfer clicks - sales for which playboygirls makes no money. The use of the image could also result in sales for playboygirls via surfer type-ins for which the webpage owner makes no money.

If the webpage gets a lot of traffic it will result in both types of sale. Possibly even both types of sale to some of the same surfers.

If you give downloadable adult content away on the web, it will get spread around the Internet as sure as night follows day. So make sure all images and movies you give away are watermarked with your url.

Personally, if I owned playboygirls.com & I saw that webpage I'd think the webmaster was a fool for not joining my affiliate program.
