While most (straight) men do seem to like naked chicks , I don't really think that reasoning applies particularly well - and if it's the TotemCash guys themselves who are suggesting it, I dare say it's a bit of a marketing trick aimed at webmasters.

I don't think I'm exaggerating too much if I suggest that trying to promote VirtuaGirl HD on various more or less obscure niche sites, wouldn't get you much better results than putting glamour babe links up on the same sites.
You might get a sale here and there, but I certainly wouldn't expect stellar ratios.

The whole desktop stripping thing might be a pretty unique concept - or way of representing the content - but personally I would still file the product and the accompanying website under the rather broad "babe" label.
That might not spark a whole lot of interest among those looking for interracial gangbangs, BDSM or midgets in latex . Though I do imagine it could indeed do well on certain mainstream sites - the basic free version of the program would pretty much qualify as R-rated, with no explicit content (if I recall correctly, the girls don't even take their tops off in the short free samples).

I believe most of my traffic seems to repond best to girl next door amateurs and the mature niche. I might need to get my hit counts up though. The trouble is I get sales from odd places and it's hard to figure out why. I'm all over the place with different sponsors and niches. yep, you are right. I am agreed with that and know it since i started promoting them, but again it should be more "universal" product you can sell on almost any kind of traffic, while for example you can't sell mature fatties at a teen site

edit: I also agree it would be more cool if they start providing some more niched content, like fetish strippers and etc, not just babe and gay strippers..

I'm not doing very good with them at the moment, here's mine since the beginning of this year:

3 signups, 4 rebills
1/2299 ratio

Although to be fair, i did only have them on my only non-niche site, which is just a very small general website (with a mix of SE traffic and hard trades) but ive recently put them up on some of my newer babe / nudes sites and those have 100% search engine traffic, so hopefully it will improve.
I did try putting them on my niche sites, but that seems to be a waste of time.

I really like their support and the fact that they are trying out page peels, and it seems to be a cool product, if only there were better options to market it, since a lot of us work in particular niches.

Let's hope they consider more niche-based promos so we can put them up on our more worked on niche projects =)

Actually, they are often rather creative with the outfits the girls are wearing, so I guess they could be described as trying to cater at least somewhat to certain clothing fetishes.
Although I still think this is - and no doubt will remain - too much of a broad "babe" product to truly catch the attention of surfers looking for content in more specific niches.
