Would it be useful to include a sponsor rep in the portal project
It was just a thought that I had. Some of the reps for Netpond sponsors are knowledgeable and helpful. Would it be useful if one of them had access to the private forum to give us some advice, and maybe get us better info from the sponsor stats?

No I dont think this is useful at all because of a couple of reasons.
1) when there are bad ratios it's always the affiliates fault and never the sponsors fault. 2) in a project the majority of the participants WILL NOT reveal their stats. I know that from other projects. Just let this project be between affiliates and leave program owners out of this. |

There is going to be more than one sponsor used, no? If one rep from one of the sponsors is allowed to participate, then all the reps should be permitted to participate.

I am with Adriaan on this and also what does a rep know more then a average webmaster does? not much or even less imho

Agreed with the Dutchies.
Can't really be 100% sure on what sponsor reps are telling you some times, and I'm not sure what they could add - they WANT the traffic sure, but that's about as far as it goes... __________________

maybe I misunderstood - I thought the thought process was to "include a rep" because of the perspective and information the person might provide - not so the Reps sites would be included or the Rep would push their sites?
I agree with Harry that many dont know more than the average webmaster - but some do. |
