actually in some public libraries in colorado its perfectly legal too look at

porn if not politically correct. some libraries its a no no. some its ok if you

What has not even been touched on yet, is that whether it is legal or not, should not be the real issue here ... It is more an issue of common courtesy and respect (or lack of) for your fellow citizens in a public place.

Had it been me seeing you displaying porn on your laptop in a public family establishment, I would have probably given you much more trouble than the guy you speak of did ... but this is just me ...

People who are blatantly disrespectful of their fellow man hit a sore spot with me .... like the loud obnoxious big black woman in the checkout line that has to let everybody know her opinion on everything .... I'm sorry to say, but displaying porn on a laptop in a coffee shop (or public liabrary), whether allowed or not, is in very bad taste IMHO, and displays a lack of respect for people who assume they are not going to have to worry about this in a public family establishment.

this business is suppose to and should be kept behinde closed doors very private. Should not be doing this outside of your own private surroundings. If I saw someone outside in a public place surfing porn I would think this guys got a screwloose. Just something that should not be brought out into the public.

I think a lot of us are so consumed in the porn biz that we forget the way normal people think. Most people are not big fans of porn even though they might be cool with Playboy or nudity in a movie. We need to remember that not everyone watches porn and in a public place it just isn't cool to do work if it involves visiting an adult page.

A couple years ago I was in an internet cafe and there was a teenage kid beating off inside of his sweatpants while watching porn. It was hilarious, he was sweating like a pig and letting out wispy moans. There were like 20 people sitting around him. Everyone, including the employees, chose to ignore him as best they could.
