Blogs In Folders & SEO

I have a solo girl blog that features all different kinds of solo girls on the root:

Solo Girl Daily

As you can see I then have links to niche specific blogs "Asian Sologirls" "Big Boob Sologirls" etc etc.....in folders so I can move the traffic around to try and give them exactly what they are looking for and build one big site.

If I understand correctly adding a few back links a week, say one to the root, and one to the boobs blog, and one to Asians blog, will all give weight to the entire site and not just the blog in the folder?

Why didnt you seperate everything in categories mate?
Would have worked out the same (or better) than having those amount of blogs...

The way they are all interlinked would mean search engines see it as one big site rather than seperate sites. So unless you are on about getting a pagerank, a search engine will list all pages under your one domain, rather than classing each as seperate.

Because I don't know how to customize wordpress so it shows each header for the difference niches. The sub niches are new I could still change them. If anyone knows how to do it I'll pay $$$

That's what I thought. And yeah I want it seen as one big site.

Didn't really want to have them all individual installs but didn't know any other way.

You can use WP-MU and install blogs in folders. That would cut out more WP installations.

I think it would be better to have it as one whole site with categories rather than folders with different installs.

and all the subdir blogs will benefit the more authority the domain gains.

from a SEO perspective there's nothing wrong with that.
