Jesus camp on Channel Four What do you think?
I am sat here watching "Jesus camp" on Channel four (UK viewing schedule 6th of May 2008)

If I were in the UK I'd boycott Channel Four. Let's just say when I was on one of their shows it was not what they promised it would be.
But, my experience with the UK media is they all lie or make promises they don't keep. They email now and it goes in the trash __________________

Get outta here! They are the one who had The Girlie Show, right?
(One TV show contacted me, got in touch with my models and promised to mention my websites on the TV show documentary, and, of course, never did. When I pointed it out they said it was an oversight. So for nothing they got free models they never could have found (a true bearded woman, for example) and others and I got nothing) __________________

You and I may have and probably will have more than our fair share of run ins against each other but I agree the UK press suck thye (they) manipulate to suit their agenda (C) but What do you mean 're this ? Could you elaborate on your experience(s) please? btw care to help me to help you to help others to gain more understanding(s) into many thinggs (or not as the case my be)? __________________

Well, I get a lot of requests to be interviewed and turn every one of them down if it's the UK media. I've repeatedly done written interviews and they misquote me. WRITTEN and they misquote me? Last time they also misquoted 2 of my customers who also did written interviews. One guy's name was even misspelled and he wasn't happy. But c'mon, we do it in writing to avoid errors and they still manage to misquote and mangle??
I've been promised my URLs would be in interviews and they aren't, and then I'm told some bull about legally they can't publicize it without paying me or some nonsense. So, pay me! And then the story above, the documentary, without the promised publicity .... __________________

Yes, I saw it. Very interesting and disturbing to see what these people are doing to children's minds with their literal interpretation of the Bible and Christianity.
The documentary in not a Channel 4 production but was screened on Channel 4 here in the UK. The film has been shown prior in the states where it created a controversy and was nominated for an Oscar for best Documentary Feature. Here is a Wiki Jesus Camp. Pastor Ted Haggard is interviewed and comes across as a typical self-righteous minister who preaches, "we don't have to debate about what we should think about homosexual activity. It’s written in the Bible." Having heard him say that, it's worth watching this documentary just to see how it ends (if you don't already know). |
