I watch very little TV ... the odd movie/DVD now and again during my supper hour ...
Thus why my old 36" JVC I'Art CRT is more than enough TV for me, while every last one of my friends has plasma or LCD ... |

Give up my TV?! My nice new 40" 1080p TV I use for everything (with a little help from my PS3 and a HD STB) from digital cable TV, over Blu-ray movies and gaming to streaming porn and downloaded TV shows from my PC?
That's gotta be the most insane suggestion I've read in recent times  .I'll take plenty of entertainment over more money and a 50+ hour work week, thank you very much  .__________________

For me it's not TV at all, I'll gladly spend a whole day hopping around the internet just reading random crap, or, you know 'planning'.. that's not to mention gaming
I think it's healthy though, I mean if your not even trying to enjoy yourself atleast some of the time then what are you working so hard for? although, I don't entirely subscribe to the work to live philosophy because future security is very important these days |

I haven't had a TV in the house for over 10 years now. I can do a lot more work, and get more exercise.
It does seem to make conversation difficult sometimes. TV crap seems to be all some people can talk about. |
