I started my own with something like new girl here just saying hi
blah blah blah.

Most people said hi back, cept for one person.And that was Shifty said something like show us your tits. That made me laugh and NetPond became my home.

Speaking of Shifty...Anyone know what happened to him. I haven't seen him in ages.

I just tried to find mine, but that 500 results search limit put a stop to that - the closest I could get was a fairly specific question (already forgot what it was

) I asked in the newbie forum in February 2005, but it didn't look like a first post, and I had also joined at least a few weeks or a month earlier.

I was told about webmaster forums in January, 2003 by a designer who did a lot of work for me but still owes me work I paid for but he never did. My first posts were looking for designers and I met Doug, who to this day did the best design work of anyone I have ever found. Unfortunately he has some personal issues and moved on, but now I see his work on a site and I'm proud of him for landing on his feet and getting a good job
