Sponsors - update your news.....

I am sure I am not the only one that looks at a sponsor site and is put off by the fact that the last 'news' was posted years ago.

This especially true with smaller progs.

A classic I just saw - "10 new FHGs added" - 10/10/2006

I didn't look any further.

yes to be honest I see this on larger problems as well and bothers the crap out of me ... if you aren't going to bother updating it at least once a month, why do you even have it at all ?

Sponsors who do not update program news, fail to keep rss feeds fresh, and are hard to reach tell me one thing... The program is stagnant and not worth sending traffic to...

Loads of sponsors are very bad at updating news and rss feeds. Some of them convert well, but if you are new to that sponsor it sort of puts you off promoting them if they can't keep basics updated.

I agree if I look at a sponsor's site and the news is old I move on...

If they dont care enough to update the news section - they should just take it off the page.
