Webmasters or companies wanting there own radio show

Right we have 2 shows that are supose to come online, one is Eric Bernstein show and one is Loki's show. Webmasters are more than welcome to use the netpond show server free of charge. Companies that are sponsors of netpond may also use the show server free of charge, but there is a charge for my time if they don't have the equipment.
Companies wanting to use the server that are not sponsors of Netpond, I am sure we can work something out also..

The server is rated for 150 listeners, but its never been peaked and could prob do more.
Its a pretty simple thing really, you got a mic, you use a shoutcast gui and connect to the server. Now the way I am set up I use two machines connected thru fiber optics, one machine has skype so I can make phone calls. I use two mics one connected to each machine, that way a person can talk on skype and I can talk to them and it also feeds into the gui machine. This was a total bitch to set up to keep echo out of the system and feedback. I had to go with fiber optics because when I just used normal connections I would get some really funky noises. My set up with mics, a mixer, sound cards, and a skype machine, ran me a little over $1500, my main mic ran me almost $600 by itself.
To run a show you have to be pretty dedicated to it. Day and time are pretty important. But mostly being there when you say your going to be there is the major factor. I have been to shows where they have used scripts and I have been to shows where there just off the cuff so speak. I prefer off the cuff.
Guests can be a real pain in butt sometimes not only getting them there but also contacting them once they say they will be there, life happens and you have to be prepared to just go with it if something happens.
Having a chat area also helps with whats the topic and to get what your listeners really want to hear about.. If you want to do trial I can always let someone be a guest host on the netpond show, and you can see how it goes.. Thats just a simple phone call on the skype box to you, and you do the talking..

Hmm if I were able to do it at times that suited both euro people and americans I would enjoy giving back a bit by doing a regular seo/traffic/webmastering hour every couple weeks. Apart from your awesome netpondshow, there are no other shows that really deal much with webmastering and the business side of things.

Also using it for project chats is so much easier than typing it all up! I remember you and krusty giving me hell because I typed too slow! haha.
