hello

How much monthly bandwidth you traffic eats for your sites? Can you also put numbers as how many visitors?

The main question is how much monthly bandwidth you need for your sites.

I am interested most of those who promote webcam sponsors, cos i suppose TGPs eat more bandwidth

Your answeres will help me decide what package of hosting to choose.

If you have

100k visitors a month on webcam site, and every visitor burn 100-200kb then you need:

~10-20gb a month.

I run several websites of which mostly are members movies, also galleries & a webcam link...

Last month I blew 1500gb on bandwidth!

Mainly surfers from the hun though... so dont panic! lol

You best bet for deals, value, & looking after you is Hostgator...

check them out, and at the moment they have a 20% off....

I use only 50-70Gb a month and make a very nice return on that.

This is really one of those 'how long is a piece of string questions'. It all depends what kind of sites you are doing and of course, the amount of traffic. Everyone will be different.

Presumably, arse with class, you still make your gallery pics at >500kb and your thumbs at 80kb which is why your bandwidth is huge compared to others. I'd also wager that you're not using hostgator yourself for your hun galleries, and the plug for them was for the ref link only.

My own advice would be to start with a host that is renowned for reliability and customer service and who offer a plan which is easy to scale up from. There are plenty around, personally I like cyberwurx, but do your research carefully.

Actually he has his own site with them. Because it was down yesterday along with all of mine when the host gator data center crashed for about 4 hours.
I have since then started to move my bigger sites to A1 Web Solutions | Fast, Reliable Level3 Web Hosting as several people on the pond have recommended them.

Would be good if near that number to also say what exactly: TGB, videochat site, webcam affiliate site and so on, so i can draw a conclusion.

Like i said i am intereseted in those who are webcam affiliates like my sites.

30,000 unique visitors/month + 40 GB/month average. Smooth sailing with Hostgator for 2 years in my case. Others 'smaller traffic' webmasters I know there very happy too.

I hadnt noticed my sites down... Maybe this is why, lol, my gallery didnt submit to the hun... BUGGER!!!!

Id checked all my sites yesterday morning & they were fine... oh well!

I wouldnt change to another company as I very much like Hostgator!

They have always been helpfull & resourcefull.. A very decent price for a decent working server.. A 4 hr downtime for a year is not bad.
