Question on AFF

What is it with AFF? I have been with many of their programs since 1998 and quit using them a few years ago because they just seemed so saturated. I decided to try them again the other day since the total I have sitting in all the different accounts is just under $400.00 not a lot but would be nice to get what I sent them, I decided to try them again if just to get a few to the 50.00 min payout. I put a simple link on 2 blogs. after about a 1/2 hour i found my old login info and went in to see. I had sent them 195 hits in that 1/2 hour but only 4 unique for a total of .04 cents. How the hell do they calculate this?
I looked thru my stats since 98 and up to about 2005 the difference between sent and unique was pretty close. after 2005 I started seeing stats like 958 sent 147 unique and on and on...... They don't seem to respond to emails so I think I will put them back on my "has been" sponsors list.

Only some people still uses AFF. Search this forum, where are a lot of threads about their bussiness

AFF are the pits, and their support of Zango and the like shows they have no morality in their dealings with affiliates and associates. That $50 you might earn by promoting them could cost you hundreds of dollars from sales you could have made to other sponsors.

I don't know. I sort of stopped promoting them but I still have enough old sites that send them about 300 hits a day. I checked my stats this month and even though I only had 12 confirmed signups this month I made $233.34. that comes out to $19.45 for each one meaning that revshare still kicks in even though I haven't sent them hardly anything in the last three months.
