http://cxnets.googlepages.com/p65.pdf I wonder if putting a really hard remembering domain name as your site will improve clickability as they will find it to hard to type in and go "aaarr ok"... and click. __________________

I don't believe it, maybe some copy and paste the URL into a new tab/window but I've watched alot of people surf and this is not normal at all.
They are basing that assumption on the fact there is no referrer which is flimsy at best since there are many reasons why a referrer won't be reported by the browser |

72% of all repeated statistics are made up on the spot too .... nuff said.
 typed-in traffic is only one small percentage of no-referrer traffic ... bookmarks, start pages, and all the tinfoil hat owners who disable cookies will track as no referring URL traffic too!  __________________

it's interesting
sometime i don't like to lose the main page so most of time i just copy and paste the link instead that way i don't have to click back button to get back.... so that might be why more type in than click |

My pleasure guys.
What I noticed in the research there was that they mentioned how people type the domain into a search engine and NOT the address bar. Now that was something my ex girlfriend always did and it freaked me out, I kept complaining that she might click on a phishing site one day instead of her real bank website but no, she carried on. That's how she did all her entries but was mainly the ones she already knew. But if they mention that in the research there then obviously more than just her do it, which is incredibly eye opening and stupid but hey. __________________
