I'm purty drunk right now...

I work a "real" job during the week, usually about 50 hours of ass-bustin labor. In my case, I work days on a turf farm, in the HOT ass Georgia sun on a tractor, burning up and fightin off mosquitos and gnats and ants, snakes, spiders, and some more shit. Startin about 7 or 8 Friday evening, I start drinking, and by this time Friday nite, about midnight, I'm usually pretty F'd up. I don't go out a lot, like to clubs or bars or whatever, I just stay home and work while plastered!
I don't drink or do any kind of drugs during the week (I also got a nice codeine habit goin), and I don't do anything else on weekends either--Friday is pretty much my "party" night, such as it is. Right now, the wife is asleep, the kids are knocked out, and I'm lucky enuff to be sitting in a huge home office (about 800 square ft, plasma tv, awesome stereo, fireplace which is of course not in use right now, microwave, fridge full of beer and yes, I'll admit it, wine!
This has been a really rough week at my day job and I'm freakin exhausted rite now, but I'm just at that point where I'm drunk enough to be able to say some dumb shit, and sober enuff to be able to type.
Why did I even start this post...oh yeah. Just wanted to say "hey" to all my WM friends at the 'Pond, and tell you I hope all you guys had a great week, and hope you have an even better weekend. Some of you guys have supported me a lot in the past year or so with all the helpful replies to my sometimes dumb questions, and others of you have supported me, probably without meaning to, with the smartass "fuck you" type of replies that made me want to work harder, and thanks to all of you great folks, by this time a year from now maybe I won't have to drive that friggin tractor any more, I can work from the comfort of this awesome office and still be able to feed my kids!
Anyways, the drunk guy from Ga. says Hey, and I hope you are all feeling as great as I am right now!

On Friday nites, I only do the most elementary stuff--I crop pics for my TGP's, and I force myself to not do anything else but that. When I get drunk enough that I see two pics where there should only be one, I go to bed! By my figures, I have about one hour and fifteen min. left...

A friend of mine who has a Masters in English and works professionally as an editor once told me, "Write drunk, revise sober". It works, and if I feel stuck on something I need to write I take that advise.
