Is there a way to show pictures in the wordpresss RS feed?

they show up by default. The rss feed shows whatever your posts contain. so having pics in the posts, will show up in the feed as well.

What he said. It seems to work fine for me (with the images). What version of WP are you running?

Thats an interesting question because I too use wordpress 2.5.1 and all my feeds are pictureless...anyone have an answer to this?

I am running the most current and my RSS feeds are picture less.

I did some searching in the wordpress forum and this is what I found out:

Make sure the feed contains the entire post, not just the excerpt
Firefox will just show a small portion of the post and no images, while Internet Explorer shows the full post including the images.

I added my own feed in Thunderbird and it downloaded the entire post, with links to the pictures. No pictures showed up, but I suspect that's the default behavior in Thunderbird since IE showed the post with no problems.

Hope this will get you in the right direction

In reading settings make sure feeds are set to show full text not summary
