Adult domain parking alternative

Instead of parking your domain for pennies per click, and being treated like second-class or worse citizens of the internet I have a free script that may be exactly what you need. This is only available to Netpond, where I usually make these kind of offers. It works great for mainstream domains too.

As easy as you can come up with 5 keywords, you can develop your domain and start making money per action which usually pays much better. This uses feeds, and it's extremely easy and flexible to use.

I borrowed a bunch of feeds from a post Jace made for his adult sponsors, and added them to this file.

Notice how easy that looks? Just keywords on the left and sponsor feeds on the right. This is a customized example, where every single keyword phrase has a corresponding unique feed url. It works just fine by default though, if you just wanted to enter the keywords on the left side, and nothing else on the right side, for sponsors like ebay, etc..

With almost no editing at all, except a logo change.. that keyword+feed list generated this site.

Customizing it further is very easy!

The script is probably ready, but I don't want to make it available (free) until it's been tested and I can learn from what others experience as they install and test it. okay, i've downloaded it and had a play ...

This isnt a sctipt that you can use "out of the box" for porn sites as its mainly set up for mainstream as it is but thanks to some very clear instructions, its very easy to convert it for adult sites. (you will need to check the script carefully as its full of links for google ads and email addresses that need to be changed ect ...).
Before you even start, think ahead and plan your site, if you are using the script as a one off then change it with that in mind, if you wish to use it on muliple sites then look for or use sponsors that have rotating hosted banners and adverts and plan your site with general visitors in mind.
i'm rather impressed with the end result, its reminicent of a very basic MU install! heres the one i set up to play with - Great Porn And Hot Erotica!
one thing that i have noticed is that i have it set up to show feeds on the main page (so i can just plop the script on any domain i like without having to worry about changing the front page text every time) and its only showing the feed from the first feed in my list, i dont know if this is because of an error in the script or that the other feeds are too old or what.
a quick question as well for brujah, will the feeds update?

Right, it began as a simple ebay store. Then I realized it could really power almost any kind of site pretty easily. Including adult. What rogue means is the default index.php template. It's a simple task to just delete the adsense and change the email address, meta tags, site name. Something you would probably do anyway. It's mostly html with some php tags mixed in. However, to make this even easier I could probably create an 'index.adult.php' version by removing the adsense, but they'd still want to edit or remove the email, sitename, etc.. What do you think now that you've installed it about that part? It's easy enough without adding the 'adult' index.php?

It's supposed to display the 1st keyword feed in your list by default as your front page, unless you include a 'home.html' file to alter that behavior. This gives you control over what gets displayed, rather than leave it to random. So, when your 1st feed updates your home page will update along with it. I have some other ideas how to handle this but you're welcome to make suggestions if you have ideas of your own.

Thanks for testing it and giving me feedback on this. I haven't decided what to do with it yet. I'll be testing it compared to parking for a little while first and see how the results play out.

I've given out a dozen or more copies to people who have PM'd me by now. I won't be giving anymore copies away for a little while as I work on it a little more.

personally, i'm just looking for something i can put onto empty domains, and this fits the bill perfectly so in my case once i've changed everything i want to, i'll just clone it for each now domain i have spare and waiting to be developed. the only thing i would be interesting to to improve it would be once i've removed the home.html (as in my case) so that it shows feeds, it would be a cute feature to have the index (home) page show a random feed on each reload.
(i'm glad i got in the amongst the first 12 people!

to enable a random feed selected for the home page, make the 1st keyword in your keywords.txt file 'shuffle'

i've made a very tiny change to Brujah's script that people may be interested in ...

replace the <div class="header"> of index.php to the line below ....
