Why AFF is labeled as bad?

I'm seeing here and there in the posts that AFF is a bad guy.
Can you be a little more explicit about them?
(and maybe spam me with alternatives if you make your point )

because they cheat and scam affiliates by buying stolen traffic. AND they do not think its bad.

Thats right, thats simply proves they will do anything shady/scammy/dirty if they will make money. ts your choice if you want to deal with that kind of guys

AFF was found to be openly using Zango and targeting keywords to steal traffic and joins from other affiliate programs, and from their own affiliates. After a long drawn out battle on the boards in which their owner Lars said stated "we were forced to use zango because of sex search".... Basically is tried to blame other companies on it saying that they did it because someone else was.

After taking a lot of heat on a lot of boards they finally stopped with Lars saying "we have stopped using zango because it's not longer profitable...."

Everyone bro'ed up to him and said great job, top notch thing, awesome bro, etc...

Most thought hey they made a mistake and then started sending traffic. People said hey avoid them.

A few months went by and we did a check and they were using zango again, so basically they blew a little smoke and said we stopped so people would start sending traffic, and then once they did they started using zango again.

This is just one example.

Let's not mention they are one of the biggest supporters of tubes, torrents, rapidshare, etc sites. Sites that openly promote stolen content, sites that openly promote child porn, sites that openly promote scat, rape, incest, and other type of videos.

If you do want an alternative I know many people who do well with iwantu.com

They were spamming to cheat on affiliates long before Zango. The morality is the same even if they update their methods.

I always get myself into trouble on this issue..... once more wont hurt.

AFF have the highest payouts in the biz - consistently the top payout per click in every set of published stats that you will see.

They are able to pay like this because they will deal with sites that others will not.

By not dealing with AFF 'legit' webmasters are going to lose out on even more money.

This means you are losing out twice - why not take back some of the money you are losing because these sites are around (Tubes, Torrents etc.)?

The legit wm community can take back some of the money that the non-legit are taking from them by using AFF. Think of AFF as a middle man bringing back some of that stolen cash to the people that should have had it in the first place.

AFF may not have planned it in that way - but thats what is happening.

AFF and the non-legit sites are not going anywhere, bring back some of that money. Then spend it within our community, its the only way I can see that realistically we can gain a little on our perceived enemies.

You can of course wait for Karma to catch up with them, but don't hold your breathe.

Remember that a thread like this will usually only bring out the anti AFF people - look at the sites of a lot of other members here and you will see they feel the same as me. Just don't expect them to post about it.

If someone broke into your car or home would you just never lock it again so it wont get broken into?

The trouble is the 'lock' is broken, and I cant see it being fixed.

i'd rather "think" i'm losing cash than go near AFF, the short term rewards may seem good but by spreading the reach of Zango i'd only be hurting myself in the long run.

I prefer the the phrase "The people wearing blinkers that cant see what is REALLY happening".

I will guarantee that EVERY ONE of us is directly or indirectly making money from AFF/Cams.com whether you know it or not.

Have a look in your sponsors member area and see who they use as upsells, ask who they XSell with and look at their members areas. Who do they sell their mailing lists too?

The % of the money that enters the industry from AFF and Cams.com means that all of us are paid a % of our income via them.

You were better off saying you wouldn't debate the issue. Saying I'm realistic doesn't justify promoting AFF any more than saying 'I sell drugs because if I didn't someone else would' or 'I steal from my company/customers because everyone else does it' or 'I cheat on my wife because what she doesn't know won't hurt her' or...........whatever.

There's a difference between right and wrong. Being a thief and stealing is wrong. Working with thieves is wrong.

You want to rationalize your actions to yourself, fine. But you just identified yourself as a thief.
