If you're an adult biz artist check to see if your copyright artwork is not being flaunted in huge quantities for free view at this site by thieving members there in unmonitored galleries.

Apparently from what I understand, the members can 'gain' per view of content in 'their' galleries. A few members are flagrantly posting hundreds of copyright art images fetish artists individually in numbers of galleries set up by the members.

The site supposedly warns members not to post copyright artwork AND photos upon threat of being banished. However the tens of thousands of images there are mostly copyright artwork and photos.

Here is the rule the site has which their dozey administrators don't give a crap about in allowing hundreds of art images per artist to be posted in single thieving galleries;

What kind of content is prohibited?
We do not allow the posting of bestiality, zoophilia and pedophiliac content. This includes, but is not limited to, persons under the age of 18 or persons giving the appearance of being under 18, either posing as "models" or taking part in otherwise sexually implicit or explicit situations. In the case of questionable model age ImagFap has the final decision in this matter.

Pictures that infringe on the copyrights of any entity. This includes, but is not limited to, copyrighted photographs, as well as pictures for which users lack usage and/or distribution permissions.

Uploading any of the aforementioned files will result in the immediate termination of your ImageFap account and forfeiting of any unpaid revenue. ImageFap works closely with the authorities and will disclose your connection details and any other identifying information where required by dutch law

To report infringements of the above-mentioned, please report the picture and/or gallery using the Abuse Link which you can find at the bottom of every page.

The site nauseates me- it has my copyright art stolen and blatantly posted there too, along with dozens of major adult industry artists- some dead, many living.

I reported the stolen artwork gallery regarding my content and I'll give them the weekend to 'resolve' the issue.
I'd like to know if any of you have excellent advice to give regarding knowing how to make that site clean up its copyright-infringer infested site and any good adult industry lawyers who could handle the matter if need be. Also, info to contact the sites server/ ISP would be a good idea wouldn't it......


Here's one example of the copyright abuse;
this member has many galleries with masses of copyrighted artwork in each;

actually stuff like imagefap has been around longer than tubes. adult art has been pirated wholesale since the beginning of the web, artists being easy targets.

Well I got the person responsible for the illegal uploads to see reason in posting the hard work of others which is also copyrighted - he took down thousands of images in various galleries he had as a result; I was at the same time directed to another similar 'gallery' site which had a ton of my images there too - I got that site to remove the gallery very fast.

Oddly enough, that site and imagefap are server located in Holland.

The real issue is that both sites state emphatically they don't want members posting copyright content, but they have incompetent monitors permitting huge single gallery uploads of hundreds of images belonging to one site/owner.
I critiqued them about that in communications sent to them.

My advice to owners of pirated content is to harass and pursue the nutters who think it's ok to post your work to whatever extent you can manage. In my case it worked out.... [this time ]

They post "don't upload copyrighted content!" as a pathetic attempt to cover their ass.

Big sites like photobucket and flickr have the same issues.

I've had photographs I've taken, stolen and hosted on photobucket. Luckily they have a very good mechanism for reporting DMCA violations and will remove any offending images with a simple email following the letter of the law (ie notifying them of the DMCA violation, swearing under penalty of perjury that you are the copyright holder, etc).


Fortunately and unfortunately, the law protects site owners who operate sites for sharing social content (like flickr/myspace/photobucket/deviantart etc) from the actions and copyright violations of its members. Just like forum and blog owners are protected against the content posted by their members/commenters. As long as it is not blatant that the purpose of the site is to circumvent copyright.

I hate thieving fuckers. Could I ask that any webmaster noticing other webmasters content, mine included would state so in a thread. Its good if we all work together to stop them!

e-hentai is a huge pirate content dump, they steal mostly from asian artists who aren't capable of complaining so they're safe, most of the hentai "industry" online is based on the assumption that the artists will never get them. Even some sponsors openly use pirated content up to and including their paysite tours. :/

DMCA the website, the host, the upstream provider, the domain registrar, the sponsors, etc. Make enough noise and that's the only way to stop cock suckers from stealing your content. You make it too much of a hassle and they will end up adding you to their "don't rip off" list.

yes- More specifically people willing to take action and bypassing obstacles is the key. I actually asked my billing hosts who were Dutch to look into those 2 aforementioned thief-laden sites that were actually server located in Holland; on the grounds my site and the billers were both losing business. He passed the ip info/address details I gave him onto his Risk Management dept. guys. I got an odd reply they couldn't do anything - no mention of seeing what the Durch internet cops could try to do> the sites have tens of thousands of copyright works and there's no motivation to attempt to give them grief even being located locally !!!! I guess its up to obtaining lawyers or harassing the thieving sites server hosts.

I have a guy that runs a company that stops any clips or films shown on tubes and other sites. He cant obviously stop the theft but he stops the use of it!
