Script for Dating site ?

I am starting a few local adult dating sites, and just wondering whether there are already some decent dating site scripts or backends on the market?

Needs to handle profiles, registrations, email outs to members, secure messaging, etc etc etc. you all probably know the drill.

Anything I should look at ?

I remember a long time ago some girl that hung around here was putting up a dating site, and she had found a script for $750 I beleive that looked good but I can not remember what is was.

I did a search but could not find it, even looked over at H2OH hosting because they had a special where they would build a dating site and host it.

Over the years I realized that pre made scripts wont get you really far.. custom made scripts will work alot better and will get you exactly what you are looking to do..

Try scriptlance.com? maybe you can get a custom one made cheaper then a premade?

I dont like to reinvent the wheel. Wanted a script that I could just do changes on .... but if there arent any out there then I might have to find a programmer who can do one up.

Hang on lb I know of one but it's like 1300 bucks, if you really want to look at it I'll find the info for you.

Jackman, thanks mate ... once again "google is your friend" because I just assumed I wouldn't find anything on there, but there you go and dig up a few. lol.

Ok if you could just pm me the info about the expensive one, that would be great, but there also seems to be a few here which are perfect for what I need and much cheaper.

I've bought some sites on ebay that are dating oriented and some even come with a members database usually about 1600 random real memebers. Never did anything with them. I think most of those members are going to be mainstream.

I also saw a script that someone was selling for about $95.00 on ebay. You can also try dotcombuilder. They have dating sites as part of their membership that you can change.

I like the look of mojo personals .... looks like I can plug it in without a programmer and it works with clickbank and paypal. The more I save on the script the more I can throw at local advertising

Sorry guys-posted this in a hurry and didn't really explain what they do.
They supply ready made dating sites from £99 inclusive of hosting per year.
The sites can be added to and they have more expensive options but seem very willing to work with webmasters for a more custom option.
I've been talking to them about a mainstream project not sure if they will do adult.

I could be way off but what I read that is nothing a decent BBS script couldn't do. Security is done on the server so that's not really an issue
