It's true that the News of the World is often economical with the truth & often very biased and sensationalist in their reporting. They can be very hypocritical & sometimes down right irresponsible in the way they report things. I don't think they just sit in their offices and make things up though. They have run with stories that turned out not to be remotely true in the past - and have had to publicly apologize & pay compensation in and out of court. Then again they have also won many libel cases. In short they are a typical British newspaper.

I have a gut feeling that this particular story is essentially true it troubles me deeply to say. The age of her daughter is what makes it so outrageous & the mother's total disregard for US Senate ruling 18 U.S.C. 2257 is extraordinary - remember the article says it was an American porn producer who informed the newspaper about this woman. But I wonder if it would be taken as seriously in other parts of the EU - Spain for instance where the age of consent is 13. Or Italy where it is 14.

Also the News of the World is owned by Rupert Murdoch who among his other interests is one of the world's richest Porn Barons. He has a vested interest in appearing to clean up the adult industry and in promoting his hugely successful satellite TV porn channels as the safe alternative to Internet porn.

Personally I want to know the true identity of this woman. If this story is true. I don't want any material with her in it on any of my websites.

Perhaps he (or possibly she) is an associate or an employee on the News of the World's owner Rupert Murdoch. Did you read or consider my previous remarks about Murdoch having a vested interest in appearing to clean up the adult industry? Actually I'm wondering if anybody took in my comments on this because nobody has addressed them at all in subsequent posts to this thread.

The NOTW newspaper is part of a multinational concern. It is freely available on the WWW.

Also "Claire Kent" is a British porn actress living in Essex, England. So contacting a "British" newspaper about her illegal activities makes perfect sense to me. As you can see from the follow up report in the Sun (the daily version on the NOFW also owned by Mr Murdoch) the British police are reported to be interviewing this woman about these very serious allegations.
