And exactly when were you going tot ell me that you had decided to shut down GAMMA Platoon ?

I know I have not been active, but in the last 2 weeks I cleaned the forum up, began posting again, started the troops moving again and participated in posts here from Sleazybear about the future of BetaBrigade.

I did the GAMMA thing originally as a favor to Meat as I was going to take my tutorial group elsewhere to do that.

All of that is an aside thought.

I am just pissed that as a LONG time supporter of Netpond and properties, and mates of most of you, "FORAD" decides to close GAMMA without so much as an email or ICQ contact to ask and/or tell.

That sort of sucks.

Don't you think.

Keep it closed, I don't want it open (which is probably what I would have said to whoever had they bothered to ask me anyway), but other supporters and GAMMA members here had already out there hand up to help with new recruits and putting them through the tutorial process.

It was probably oversight, but just got my goat.

most of the gamma people have "dual citizenship" in gamma, and in another platoon. I know new people weren't being put in gamma because ctb was gone for a while, which makes sense, but it was always run as a subgroup within betabrigade.........and all the info is laid out in there. Not sure why it is closed. I been helping some people via email, and icq, RE gamma..............so if anyone else needs any clarification about things feel free to hit me up via email or IM, and I will be glad to help till this gets cleared up.

Thanks Shift... I didn't get past that FORAD post before I was fuming and came straight here.

Haui wouldn't have not touched base with me - Sleazybear has never contacted me personally.

In the next day or so I will be moving all my relevant threads and information elsewhere and shall revamp (what I had logged on to GAMMA tonight for was to start revamping the mission threads !!) and will let GAMMA members know.

The information following on from the tutorial will live on.

Thanks also for all the off-board support I have received already - don't get me wrong, Netpond is a great place and I will not be going anywhere, I just do not accept being treated like shit by anyone, anywhere, anytime.

It's a principle thing.....

I have just deleted ALL threads out of GAMMA Platoon and replaced with an announcement concerning the unforeseen closure of GAMMA:

By the wisdom of FORAD, GAMMA Platoon has been disbanded.

The GAMMA Captain, CuriousToyBoy was NOT consulted prior to this action.

If you wish to remain in BetaBrigade, please PM FORAD and asked to be moved to a new Platoon.

For those of you wishing to keep with the GAMMA Tutorial, I will be continuing this at my board:

Well, all I can say is Meat & Aga are not gonna react kindly to you using thier property to sabatoge it and steal users.

Miscommunication or not, its safe to say you fucked up far worse than they did. Did they do anything intentionally to attempt to destroy or slander your business like you are doing to them in this very thread?

slander is ..... A false and malicious statement or report about someone. There were no false statements in this thread, as I had seen all of them with my own eyes.

There could be some flak about attempted "stealing" of members.............though I don't see how this could be seen as anything different than ricardoB posting about the tutorials he has up on his board, or countless others.

Gamma has been disbanded by netpond itsself, and therefore has been moved outside of where it was no longer wanted/needed. So, again, the only complaint could be that a link to an outside message board was given.

I'm not trying to stir shit. I love the pond, beta brigade, and the stuff I learned in Gamma. I was one of the last ones in there, and have been helping people out with things (under the radar) both when ctb was active, and when he was awol for a bit.....as well as offering to help out on new things to keep things moving. Again, this is different than the other platoons that are going on in BB. The problem was that people were being put in there as their primary platoon, instead of dual citizenship as it was meant to be, so it ended up looking to new people that they were in a dead platoon.

Really, if anything, the missions should have just been rolled up into the main board (if everyone involved thought that the way to go)

Again, as I said, not trying to stir up shit.........as I got nothing but love for everyone involved, and if I am out of line feel free to hit me up about it.

Gamma has been closed for months, i was told all active memembers was moved out. Forad is admin, sleazybear is not, but i post under both. Newbies in beta brigade need someone to follow, someone that is there, not every 3 months, but every other day at least. The last go round of cuts because of inactivity your name was there, but i didnt cut you because you was a captain, I have had at least 20 recruits ask to be put in gamma in the last 3 months, i have told them it was closed. Why, no activity by there captian. I have had pvts ask me to move them out, when i got one last night i thought hmm must still be some active, so i posted to make sure that anyone that was missed when actives was moved out.. i was on the phone with krusty i know 2 months ago, and she told me you was lit on icq, told her to tell you to contact me.. didnt happen.. I am not going to have a captain that logs in every three months, in a platoon of privates, and there sitting there wondering what the hell is going on.. Its bullshit like that is what screws the program.. if you would of contacted me, we could of at least talked about what was going on, instead you blow up on a board.. This thread is bullshit..

Thanks for deleteing everyone webmaster out of the gamma webmasters list, that had nothing to do with you, those posts was supose to stay with the pvts, even if they are cut from inactive, they still was there if the webmaster rejoined, your being pissed fucked every member of gamma..
