I bought traffic from him, didn't make any sales BUT I also didn't make any sales from any traffic from any other source either...
He submitted one of my sites for me & I got a shitload of hits from lots of forums...

All I know is I ordered the traffic and got it. He submitted an url & I got hits from various bbs & forums. Are those also his own sites? I don't know.

Am I defending or offending anyone here? Hell no, I haven't met ANY of you guys. I aint gonna defend nor offend any piece of text next to an avatar... (Except I do have a crush on Krusty, Juliet,... lol)

I think its more a case of people frustrated that they have bought traffic and the person they bought it off has vanished without a word. I think its the fact that many of these things havent been taken to the board before because Ricardo was such a "nice guy" that have led to these problems.

This is not about quality of traffic, but more people feeling they have been scammed or seeking answers on already paid for traffic.

Feel free to correct me if I have read this thread wrong.

clsunli: even if you got an enormous list of incoming links, it realy is easy to recognise it when you buy traffic... you suddenly have a lot of hits from other sites than the day before... a lot of his sites also have similar (parts of) names.

I can only say good things about RicardoB. He has been helpful and generous to me and others. If I can say that I made any sales from his traffic, I do not believe I did, but again, it was skimmed TGP traffic sent to blogs and a toplist..........

I wish he would be here to defend himself......and sell me some traffic!

That is my situation exactly, LB. I paid for traffic. He vanished. I'm thankful it was a small dollar amount, so I didn't lose out on more.

Lesson learned. Just because someone seems well supported on a board doesn't mean they are going to deliver what they say they will.

And I personally don't care what the reason for not being around is. There is nothing, and I do mean nothing, that could happen in my life that would leave me totally out of contact with my business. I can see circumstances where I might contact one trusted person, and ask them to please post at boards that I had an emergency or I would send out a global q msg and get back to everyone later.

No matter what kind of spin you put on it, this long of no contact with outstanding orders...paid orders, not traffic given away in this contest or that...is highly unprofessional.

The sad thing is that there is a pattern here,he goes he comes back,gives a load of traffic away,takes a load more new orders and whoosh,gone again. Clever marketing/scam? who knows.
I have had a chunk of traffic from him and its all been delivered and has been of varying different qualities which raised my eye brows but thats a different issue.
We all have personal lives and associated problems, but how long does it take to post a message?

I meant that I had no problem with him personaly, and that now everybody is bashing on him..............I'm fully aware that regular ponders may have been screwed in the past, and I said it was not cool.......but who is this guy with a $4800 traffic order and 4 posts to his credit???? Yes its been hard kamilla, while people were having orders filled and those that did far outnumbered the ones that didnt or so it seemed. So it is tough for us to stop business when it seems to be going well for everyone concerned and shit happens and stuff goes wrong sometimes so all in all he was allowed to continue, this decision has bittem us on the ass big time and that may affect how we deal with this kind of thing in future.

however rest assured the line has been drawn in the sand.

Ricardo is not welcome on netpond any more.

As soon as he has filled his orders he WILL be the weakest fucking link he will be banned forvever and he will never be welcome back.

His reputaion will precede him on other boards so i think ricardos day in the sun is finished and if hes as smart as he appears to be he will be out trying to get a real job.
