My 2 cents to that is if he'd have said to you "dude/dudette, I can't deal with anything right now. Can you do a bud a favor and post to NP that I've had a catestrophe, and I will get back with everyone asap" and you would have posted such it would have been alot more understandable than total silence to people he has ongoing business obligations to.

Well i guess whats ahppened is,

Ricardo had his big double your traffic promo

At the same time guys like Mocardo who poste dint his thread have cut off alot of his "traffic sources"

So instead of doing the right thing and telling everyone there will be a delay in getting the traffic and giving the oportunity to get refunded hes just dissapeared while he builds his new "traffic sources" up.

I don't think someone like Ricardo would even think of scamming anyone. Think about all the reputation and goodwill he has created and i do believe he can make a lot more money by NOT scamming anyone.

oh give me a break! If your pre-paid hosting service went down and everyone was on vaccation, would you still host there??

Yeah, I can see where things would be so bad that you could log in to Netpond, cash out points (per Meat's post of yesterday) and never leave a post directed to people whose money you had.

With all due respect ScreaM, you don't know this guy! He may say he likes your avatars or whatever, but that doesn't mean he's not capable of cheating someone.

I'm sure he will have an excuse. The best ones usually involve women or children. My baby was sick etc, is better than, my sheep stood on my laptop.

Some of you seem to think someone who would do something like this, would go round with a sign around their necks saying, 'I'm a scammer, please don't trust me'. It's like women who are raped by guys they know, don't know he is gonna do that, or they wouldn't go near him.

Of course, he could have been very ill or something, but we know he he has logged into his own forum.

If he was looking after his supposedly sick girlfriend, wouldn't he have a couple of minutes to make a post to the forum to explain? This is the business that pays his bills!

i got scammed by someone on a hardware trade forum, he built up trust over many months then ... bam! he has disapeared with thousands of pounds of money, including a ps2 that i paid for. thats the trouble with the internet, we are putting our trust in avatars and names. i may actually walk past the peson who ripped me off without ever knowing.
