I agree, TGP2 is dead. But it is a valid strategy nonetheless, and as Headboys 4Ups seems to work for him, it is okay if you go off into your own corner ofthe net and do your own thing. But then again, why reinvent the wheel? As long as there is infrastructure to support TGP2, like the gallery pool and the RotateHer, use it until Headboy designs a system that works better for his cluster of amorphous pages.

The key in this business is somehow pulling in more than you are paying out. Reducing bandwidth and labor costs that some of the TGP submitters layout for diminishing returns is probably a smart move. Obviously, if you blast into TGP2 with the same high outlays and zest you have for submitting to the hun, etc, you will be disappointed. If you carefully lay away a few galleries a day on a domain you will keep up for a long time, I think you will be rewarded in the end.

The way I look at it, you need to create your own traffic source or pay for your traffic. You can create a link list, toplist, blog, rss aggregator or a tgp2 and get yourself some of your own good quality traffic, instead of paying for submissions. You will make more money in the long run.

Tried a couple, got very little traffic - which is fine, I can convert 10 hits from the right source into a sale, but the sales weren't there either, so I moved on. Building galleries bores me anyway, maybe I should pay someone to do it.

What about tgp2 movie galleries, just like choker's galleries 1 or 2 vids and embed them in html.

Check out Ana's tutorials. She feeds them choker traffic and finds they bookmark.

I was being facetious when I said that. Of course TGP2 is dead in the same way FTP is dead... it is a settled 'protocol', but enough people actually use it so that it is still used on the internet inspite of other file transfer protocols like P@P or SCP. The active development is on this 'TGP2Evolution' concept which seeks to utilize the infrastructure of blogging (RSS feeds, publish-and-subscribe syndication) to make more use of TGP2 gallery content and reduce the labor involved in putting referral codes and linked images infront of surfer's eyeballs and under their mouse buttons.
