I guess it can't be for SEO work cos you would know thru reading other threads that IP does not mean much since 2004, a shit load to me would mean more than a 1000, any host can get these for you I think as long as you have a legit reason and are willing to pay for them.

what do you need the IP's for? another solution could be using IPv6, saves you buying a lot of IP's

Thats what I told him and be blew up at me in ICQ telling me he knew more then I DID when it came to SEO work. IP's don't matter, it comes down to keyword rich content. This guy Kard63 is a real jerk. Also be careful he likes to go posting people's ICQ conversations online over at GFY.. KARD63

You could buy several small hosting accounts at cyberwurx, they will sell extras for a buck each when I last checked. But if you want hundreds, I would think you are out of luck. What ever host you select would have to justify those ips

i still wonder why hosting packages advertise how many ip's you're going to get with the account, when it makes no difference.

To everybody who still thinks that multiple IPs for DNS/SEO purposes is the way to go, here is some food for thought.

If you’re going to the bank to cash a check, there’s nothing wrong with driving your own car. If you’re going to the bank to rob it, on the other hand, driving your own car is going to make it ridiculously easy for the police to find you.

However, even if you steal a car before robbing the bank, the odds of you actually getting away with the crime aren’t exactly favorable. There are just too many ways to get caught and eliminating the most obvious, be it your car - or in this case IP address - is of minimal help.

The answer? Don’t rob the bank, and the convenience of using your own car will never become an issue.

The problem is myself, Varzi, Baldie, and several others, have discussed this many times, but people are still convinced they need a stockpile of IPs ...

I have 30 mainstream blogs that have been putting a roof over my head, and food on my table for a couple years solid now, and do you know what?!? ...... they're all on shared IPs!!!!

So somebody's still selling alot of snake oil ...

People wonder why they cannot get decent google ranks?!?
STOP FUCKING REGURGITATING 2002 SEO ADVICE!!!

Kard63, why tonnes of IP addresses?

You can use a dedicated server & have many different nameserver addresses running lots of different websites from a single IP...

Of course Hostgator have 20% off at present so very much worth a look at there dedicated or shared! I think you can have upto 10 ips on most

Well said. And I am not spilling drama over from another board if I was, I could think of a better thread to do that in. Everyone has a right to free speech.
