Webmasters, now for the first time, you can make bank by posting as well as referring posters to the Netpond Threaded Messageboard. This also includes great prizes through various competitions or programs that will be posted on the threaded board. Log into the board for the latest!! Payouts are made via ePassporte (be sure to include your ePassporte account name in your Netpond profile).
There is a $50 USD minimum payout. You must have at least 5000.00 Netpond Points to receive a payout. Payouts are made by "donating" your points at the beginning of the month to "netpondpay" If you don't make the donation you will not receive your payout. You MUST have an ePassporte account in order to receive your payout. You will not receive your payout immediately after donating. Payouts are generally made to your ePassporte account around the 14th or middle of each month. Everyone receives their payout at the same time. You are not obligated to request (thru the donation process) a payout each month. You can "bank" your points and earn interest via the Netpond "bank."
As a Netpond member, you can also use your Netpond points to purchase services offered by other Netpond members. Members conducting business using Netpond points do so, at their own discretion. If a member or a service provided by a member accepts Netpond points, this does NOT imply that Netpond endorses said member and/or service. Members are free to use points as they choose. Misconduct, misuse, or abuse of the points system is grounds for loss of member privaleges including, but not limited to, loss of any total accumulated points.

PAYOUTS AND PRIZES
You will be paid 5 points (equal to 5 cents US) for each post you make and you can make an additional 50 points for every referral you make. It will pay to tell your friends about this! Prizes will be awarded according to whatever competition is going on at the time. Please refer to the threaded boards for the lastest information about any competitions/sweepstakes. Competition/sweepstakes rules may vary and you should be sure to read all guidelines associated with any particular event.
TERMS
1) Post with no LOGICAL or COHERENT meaning will NOT count as a post subject to payouts. Spammers will not be tolerated.
2) A post must be at least 10 characters in length to qualify as a post subject to payouts.
3) Post must be made in english to qualify as a post subject to payouts.
4) Netpond reserves the right to terminate any poster trying to take unfair advantage of this payout structure (for example -- several one line posts in the same thread when a single post with several lines would have sufficed).
5) Promoting your referral code on other messageboards must only be done tastefully through sig files, etc. DO NOT SPAM. If you are caught spamming other boards, don't expect a payout. You shall not promote this on non adult websites or surfer pages, use it ONLY on ADULT WEBMASTER specific pages or your refcount and referrers will be deleted.

Posting Guidelines
Posting on Netpond is simple. This is a community and as such all members post knowing that their posts reflects
upon their integrity and their reputation as a member of this community. Netpond does not censor member posts. That is not a challenge, it's a statement.
Netpond is a paid to post forum. That is, each member is paid in points for each post. With that in mind, moderators and administrators carefully monitor the forums for members whose main goal is to exploit the paid to post feature of Netpond. Members that are obviously here to do nothing but post for points will be have their memberships revoked without warning.
Members should refrain from posting in old threads (four weeks or older). Members should not post to old threads to post "I agree" or "what happened?" ... posts of these types are obviously worthless and benefit no one but the poster who gains 5 points for posting something totally useless. Old threads are left open and alive so that members can read them and learn from them. If a member feels they need to comment on a subject from an old thread, they should start a new thread. Old threads have old information. Issues may have been resolved, birthdays have past, vacations are over, etc. This old information is not needed nor is it appreciated. New comments are encouraged in new threads.
Members should make an effort to post business worthy threads. It is also acceptable to post the occasional "water cooler (that is a non business related thread)" type thread but posting should not be limited to these types of threads.
Members should be active webmasters in the adult industry. The forums are not for the casual internet surfer nor for surfers that are looking to get paid just for posting. The member has to have a legitimate business in order to interact with other adult webmasters. If a new member does not have an established business, he/she should post on the newbie board and start learning how to make money in the adult industry. Now.. a word or two about Networking...
How does a person get to know people in the industry? Easy!! Just talk to them. That's what the Netpond Message Boards are for! Network, get to know people, chat about the biz or chat about politics, but be yourself, be honest, opinionated or neutral.. it's only going to benefit you in the long run. Once webmasters get to know you, they will be more willing to trade traffic, give you honest advice about sponsors, or maybe even share some tips and tricks they have found to work and increase their bottom line. Maybe you don't have time to post, you say? Posting doesn't actually take much time. In fact, most webmasters take this time as a break in their long day of running their business. It is in every sense, the virtual water cooler. Make posting a part of your workday and you'll find that it can benefit your business. You'll find new friends and new business connections.
Networking in the Adult Biz

Networking is a vital part of this industry. Sure it's possible to be an island and just never chat with anyone, but in reality, the best possible way to get ahead in any business, whether its brick and mortar or whether it's internet based, it's through networking.... making business contacts.
Of course, I think one of the best ways to network is via a message board or forum like the 'Pond. One *could* just sign up as a member on a forum and just start posting away but chances are that person would be picked out as a "newbie" or "spammer" and endure the wrath of the board. There is a fine art to participating on a board.
1. Board etiquette. It would be considered in bad taste to just jump in and post. While there's nothing to stop a person from doing that, it's more wise to lurk for a bit. Read some threads and get a feel for the board. What makes the board a community? What's acceptable and what's not? On Netpond, posting/resurrecting old threads is not cool. We'd rather that you start a new thread, get fresh opinions, and add new information. Old threads generally have dated information.
2. Once you do finally post a thread, help it along. Don't make a post and then abandon the thread. If you don't monitor and respond to your own thread why would anyone else want to do that? Lots of "cut and paste spammers" are quickly branded as such by making the same single post on several boards. Be careful of what you post and how you post it. Be creative and don't post the same thing over several boards.
3. Quality vs Quantity. What is laughable is how much importance some people put on post count. Post count has nothing to do with anything. A "board whore" could run up a post count in no time and most likely have not contributed anything valuable to the board. Always, remember that with each post you are engineering your future in the adult biz. What you say, how you say it, and how you react to other posts shapes your online personna. In many cases, this is the only way other people will ever know you. While you do business with each other, you may never meet face to face, so this reputation you build is very important. Not your post count. ;-) Size doesn't matter!! LOL
4. Use board features. Many message boards are operated by a sophisticated script. These scripts allow the board to have many useful features. Depending on the site administrators, some forums have more features than others. Netpond is fully functional allowing webmasters to use it as powerful tool. Members have the ability to communicate with thousands of other webmasters, not only through the forums, but through Personal Messages or PMs, user profiles, avatars, and signature.
As a member, I encourage you to put all of these features to work for you! Traditional advertising on any forum can be very costly, but as a member you can use your signature, titles, PMs, and avatars to work for your business. There is no cost and if you post wisely, your avatar, title, and signature can get thousands of views by other visiting webmasters and members.
5. Make the most of your time on a board. Some people feel that "hanging out" on a board is a waste of time. Its important to manage your board time. If you don't care to read every thread, use the "View new posts since last visit" feature. That way you only see new threads/posts. Alternatively, one could subscribe to specific threads and receive notices only about that thread. Some members use RSS feeds which sends them the newest posts to their feed reader. The goal is to network and do biz.
6. Finally, at Netpond members will find even more! Netpond has forums dedicated to resources. These resources are easily navigated using the powerful search engine that is part of Netpond. With a simple search, members can find the resources they need when they need it. Whether its a tutorial or a conversational thread, members find the answers to their questions.
