What do you look for when promoting an amateur program?

I thought this would be helpful information for fellow amateurs

Webmasters when you promote amateur sites what do you look for when deciding who to promote? Do you look for lots of tools, RSS feeds, free content, lots of different banners? Or is there something else?

Personally when I look for who to promote the first thing I do is check out the site to make sure there are not a lot of out going ads or lots of out going links. I then check to see how long the girl has had her site up. (This is very important when sending traffic in for a reoccurring percentage because you don't want the site to up and close when you have worked so hard to send in traffic.)

I also like to promote girls that run and operate their own sites as opposed to amateur site farms; and I like to see a site that has live cam shows. I think that live cam shows are so important for member retention. It gives them a reason to come back.

Also because I run a lot of blogs I look for someone who has an RSS feed that I can use or a blog that I can link to using my referral code.

Outgoing links are a big turnoff - especially review and friends buttons. I don't have the self-discipline to create blogs, so rss feeds are not important to me (I'd be checking them every day anyway). I agree with you about self-run solo girl sites, and I like ccbill as a payment option.

Anything that adds to the basic pics and videos in the members area is good, and that includes cams, blogs, diaries, email requests, panty contests and such like. I think a wish list is a good idea as well. Not only does it give the girl a few bonuses, but it brings the members back to see her wearing underwear or other items if they have given them to her.

Well thats difficult to say, every webmaster looks for something a bit different, but in general its good to offer a bit of everything Not tons, just a small bit

Personally.... I mostly work with FHGs, small video clips and RSS feeds

I look for RSS Feeds first, then I look to see if they host their own banners , or if I have, then thirdly I look at the fhgs, how many there is, and add them to my blogs

I look for lots of good quality fhg's and lots of fhg that are just pics. An amateur site were the girl talks to her webmasters in person is also a way to build up some loyal webmasters

Most amateurs were made by friends' lists, so they all had those links which are now leaks. Fortunately, many have the brains to build an alternate tour while still keeping those links on their main page for type-in traffic.

I look for individuality, not a cookie-cutter site.

Some great information From my experience finding a good amateur RSS feed is hard. So that leads me to my next suggestion.
