I used to live in the Detroit area what part are you in Kylie?

im prob only about 20 mins outside of the city ;-) not too far at all ;-) As Trinity says - having a small child makes it very hard to travel, but every month or about that we have a shoot in a decent hotel in this area for our site and we always have that scheduled in advance - let me know if your ever gonna think of coming into the area and maybe you can come along to the shoot ;-)

I know that was always the problem for me too, the traveling. Question for all of you girls? What would you think about getting a bunch of amateurs together for a convention of sorts so that you could all come down for say a 3 day event and just shoot as much as you want to with everyone that is there? We had talked in the past about renting out a place in Jamaica and making it into an amateur convention. We would even bring in the photographers so all you had to do was shoot the content for your site. We could even hold workshops and what not.

So what are your thoughts? Do you think its a good idea? Do you think its too expensive? What would you like to see at something like that?

Oh my gosh that is too funny. I grew up in Westland and lived in Dearborn Heights for a long time. Sounds like you are in the same area. I miss Michigan so much. My sister is out in Canton so if I make it out to see her this summer Ill hit you up!!

Hehe...I would say go green and white lol! I am not too far at all from those areas...Im moreso on the eastside tho ;-) Def let me know!!
As far as the conventions etc - its really hard for me to go to anything honestly, my youngest is just going on 5.... so you never know but I have a hard time with even the monthly shoots lol!

Anne if you are planning anything like that let me know I will give ya a hook up on some info . Cheap cruise to Bahamas outta Ft Lauderdale. An by cheap I mean $99 round trip sometimes less. Bad thing about traveling outside the US is have to have passport for everywhere. Used to just hope boat with birth cert and be in Bimini in about hour. Yet I still have tons of connections in Fl that can get me the 411 on good deals going on. Also know a few guys that get ya access to a few private locations for shoots etc.
