Hi ladies,

Okay so I'm already on Niteflirt and just as soon as my cam gets here I'm gonna be doing phone w/cam. Veronica and I talked a while back about the perks of ImLive and I filled out my host application so that's all good. I'm totally new to camming or will be. Are there any other places out there just as good as ImLive that perhaps I'm not aware of? This is for the domme niche.

My advice when looking for a network to broadcast on is is this:

Find out if they capture your feeds while you are on cam. A lot of cam companies are doing this now and not telling the girls that are on their system. They then make money off of selling that feed with out cutting the girl in on the amount (BTW this is how some of the companies can offer more than the standard 30 - 35%)

Sign up for the affiliate program of where you are working so that you can get the extra 30 - 35% off of the webmaster side (when you send in your own customers).

Build a website using your affiliate id so that you can promote yourself. (If you join our network I will do this for you with your affiliate code) Add the affiliate linking code to your yahoo, myspace and other pages.

Give whatever network you deciede to use a try for a month to see what kind of customers they have as well as if you can push some customers to yourself.

To me the biggest thing that girls do wrong is to send customers to where they are broadcasting without signing up for their affiliate program. If you are sending customers (traffic) anywhere you should benefit from it.

We are working on new product that is set to launch in about a week or two and could really use someone in the dom niche to feature. Please shoot me an email if you are interested.

I think it's best to run your own blog and take your own nonude pics and then link them to whatever service you are using. this way your traffic is your own and you can change services with no problem. You'll just have to change your links.

Hi Anne, I want to send this to some friends that I think are getting taken to the cleaner...my take on this is that the model must take and maintain as much control of the image as possible.

Traffic can always be generated its about control of the content.

If a model looses control of her content she looses money that she could have made that is plain and simple. For amateur models that are trying to make as much money as possible they need to think more about content control than about traffic in my humble opinion.

What good is 10 thousand to 500 thoushand views and sign ups to the model if the model has not made a percentage of those sales?

So I say its about content control.

Exactly! That is why running even a small site (2 to 3 pages and a blog) is so important. That way the girl controls who she sends over to the site she is working on. She also makes her webmaster referral percent on top of her cam girl percentage. This like you said will allow the girls to build up their own traffic, learn how to make a site and if they move networks they can just change their links.

I really think this is the best way to learn the business. Its really hard to just up and start a paysite without a lot of help and lot of content shooting. This scenario allows the girls to learn how to work a site with minimal content effort.

Anne that is such excellent advice. A lot I had not considered. I'm on Niteflirt now with cam listings but with an EH semi okay cam. I'm needing an upgrade I think here soon. I have an application pending with ImLive so we'll see on that. At the moment I have a personal financial crunch I have to meet within the next few days here so depending on what happens with that, I'll be a lot more aware of my options. Traffic I agree is key and where it is coming from and going to. Though I still have a ton to learn. I'll definitely look into your program. You got some GREAT advice there

I agree 100% Its your image and you should have the ability to remove it if you so choose. Many sites require you to sign away your rights on images you use on their sites so be careful. Once you quit a network you should be able to have those images removed (unless you sign a contract otherwise).

When I was running my own site the only images that anyone else had up were for promotion or content exchanges and this made it very easy to remove images once I closed the site up.

The other reason you want 100% control of your content is that when you run your own site your content is your brand and the more people that are using your "brand" the less salable you are.

I agree 100% owning your traffic is the key. That way it wont matter what system you are on or if you are running your own site you can always push it to yourself.

Make sure that if you are running a site at all (even a free one) that you have signed up for the webmaster program that you are broadcasting on. I would sign up for the percentage program that way you get a cut of whatever they spend even if its not on you. Cam customers are junkies lol they love cam
