my 2 cents - next time make it outside, chose some better light if that's possible, change the black background to something else preferably make it white and light. Ask her not to stare in lens if that is possible and you will get much more natural photos.

In general you are on a good "unique" track, good job, keep working on it.

more juice - just add 3 more other images to that gallery to make thumbnail block complete, it will look much much better and it will fill that boring empty space what is NOW unused. If you can make all those thumbnails square size that will improve on your layout a lot but in general take my opinion with grain of salt and pepper.

I agree with Seave as well. A natural location would be awesome; like a waterfall or lake.
