"In my times" it was pretty easy to make 200$ (my cut) per night - actually it was possible to make in 4 hours in the morning my time..just with privates, not to mention fanclubs and replays. Now it becomes much harder to work becoz of great competition of models ( who start to do really crazy things for money) and competition for members among sites! Nowadays it became like circle - sites decrease percentage more and more, but models just has to increase prices higher and higher. You've mentioned cams -top girls has price there 4.99$ - sure it's high, on Ifriends usual price was 1.99 or 2.99, BUT Ifriends used to have 50% payout, but cams pays ONLY 29% to a model now! Sites needs to be advertised to get members - they need money on advertising and decrease percentage, prices become higher and members need "free -> go private" model to get enticed on such "high-priced" private. The only site who's still great with the "old model" is CamContacts - 50% payots and the lowest prices, though their partner sites're not so generous...
Ah...we all'd be soo thankfull if this circle'd never started!!! Gold times of modelling r in the past...easy money also!

i think it depends on a few main factors

1. the models look
2. the models experience
3. the site your a chat host on
4. quality of connection/cam

working on some of the larger sites out there does involve a lot of work on the models part as the competition on those sites can be very high especially when these sites allow 500-1000 girls to go on at a time.

take a look at naked.com we work a bit differently than other cam sites out there and have tons of members and traffic. the competition on our site is very low and the consistency of privates is much higher then a lot of the other sites out there. currently the average model is making $50 per hour.

Everyone else that commented is correct, how much a model makes depends on so many different factors.

That said, our top model is making over $5000 every 2 weeks so that is pretty good

And pay is per sales basis? So it means ALL over the world girls can join cam sites and make $50 per day?

I dont think its ever possible. Ladies all over the world would leave their job or business and start doing it.

Or is it just USA girls opportunity?

As everyone has said already, it really depends on the model. How friendly she is, her communication skills, how versatile she is as a cam model. Most of the most successful web cam models don't even spend their time naked in private. They develop a relationship with a customer and speak to him/her all the time.

The chances of this are greater with English speaking models but of course it doesn't rule out models from other countries.

Our top model is consistently making over $5000 every 2 weeks, but there is a obviously a huge range in there. With web cam modeling you just have to try it out and see what happens I think because there are so many variables regarding your earning potential as a model.

It is easy to get started though, so there is no harm in trying if that is what you are interested in doing.

I do hard work actually and I like that I have my own hours.

You are a hot model Cherrylynn and you look like you have a really dynamic personality, so I don't doubt that you work hard. Like everyone has said, there are so many variables in how much a model makes. I see models making very little, or lots. I have some ideas of why this is the case, but everyone might have their own theories.

You could always try out another site if you aren't happy. We don't demand exclusivity. Although as a cam model myself I know it was helpful to just stick to one site, similar schedule, so that you build up a client base.

I'd be happy to chat with you more if you like even if you don't want to switch I'm not familiar with the site you are on so I can't say if that is the reason.

Don't be afraid to try one of the bigger programs, don't listen to everyone else, just try it for yourself and see what works for you.
