New Girl/guy
Hello, everyone. This is a post for me and my girlfriend. Im the computer savy one and webmaster savy one so that is why I am posting on here. ALthough I do not know if we should. We are looking to get advice and citiques but my girlfriend is not exactly amateur so hopefully you wont hold that against us. She has been in the buisness now for 6 months shooting for companies like hustler, wiked naughty america ect.. She is in the Milf/Cougar category. But, we are trying to branch out on our own since she has not and does not want to be a contract girl. so we are slowly learning how to do things ourselves. So far all I have up for her is a blog as we do not have enough content to create a pay site nor do we have the no how to do so. WHich is why I have decided to post on here and say hello and introduce ourselves since I love this board and there are allways helpfull people here. Get tons of content filmed and photographed and get some semi-working site together and put up all the content.. then tweak the site later. I've come to realize the more content the site has is more important than if the site has a cool layout.

I think your blog rocks! Its easy to navigate, has lots of key words on it and has lots of cool stuff for surfers to look at. I think you also did a great job with keeping the ads to a minimum. This is a perfect example of how to start on the net with out having to put up a ton of content. Are you writing all the blog entries or is that filled with an RSS feed?Welcome to netpond! Jane |

Thanks for the warm welcome
Before my girlfriend got into porn I have wandered in and out of adult webmaster world so I am familiar with this great place so I thought it would be a perfect place to help out in this new venture.
Ann thank you for the kind words and compliments I know you are a strong voice in the amateur girl arena so that means a lot. Everything in the blog is not an rss feed. My girlfriend and I each play a part. Everything is hand written we take content from the sites she has shot with and sign up and are promoting it that way. We are also using cams.com to start selling our own homemade clip content. We would lov eto eventually have our own content site but alas it will take some time to set up all the legal aspect of the right documents in order to do it right then start shooting it all. BVut we are in it for the long haul so we are taking baby steps. The site so far is getting a trickle of traffic. I was really happy with the stage name she has. She asked me what to do so I said well if you want to be popular it has to be easily relateable and recognizable. She's blonde big boobs and a milf. So the target audience would be young guys that like older women such as myself since we have an age gap. Evewryone has seen billy madison and would remember that name easily. SO Veronica Vaughn it is. As far as traffic we get a lot of people searching the net for veronica vaughn surprisingly so that will be a good traffic source for some time to come. Before we wrote the blog she has promoted herself on myspace and a yahoo group. We get some traffic from both of those areas as well. Nothing super yet usually about on average since it has been up 30 uniques a day. Getting better since we have had pic rush put up. I am about to take down my links to directories because I have gotten no emails of being accepted to them. One problem I am running into is with the nature of it without a huge amount of "content" even though our content is 100% real its hard to find link trades that fit into our arena. Not too many blogs that are written by pornstars that aren't driven by rss feeds. SO I plan on creating my own blog empire and various sites to become feeders to our blog. We are also trying our hand at using nite flirt. If anyone has had any success with this program and can give us some helpful hints to make it profitable to use it would be much appreciated.
