Amateur Model Sites

Hi,

Does anyone know approx. how much amateur models like, for instance, Welcome to "The official website of Yurizan Beltran", sweetyurizan.com or Alison Angel are paid? Are they paid for each shoot that they do, or are they given a percentage of the sites profits? Thanks!

Im not positive but on those specific sites but I can tell you that there are a lot of different ways that models are paid.

Per shoot
There are models that are paid per shoot. That means that they come in get their 100$ or so (not sure what the going rate is exactly) and then they go home. With that the photographer gets full rights to the content to use on the site, sell it or lease it out as content that other webmasters will use. When you are paid per shoot you are usually not given any percentage of the site.

Percentage
There are also models that are paid a percentage of their site. From what I have heard that can be between 40 and 60 percent depending on the company. Usually when girls are paid a percentage they are required to do so many shoots per month, cam shows and correspondence. It can also entail other things as well (ie apperances, time on the boards, trade shows ect.)

I am assuming that you are asking because you are looking to get into having your own site. Depending on how much time you are willing to devote to being online would depend on how you work having your own site. If you are willing to put more time in to do it yourself and reap more monetary benefits later that would be my suggestion. However if you would prefer to just do the shoots and a few other things I would go with finding a reputable company to build a site for you. My last advice would be to get paid a flat fee for shoots. Honestly I think that will net you the least amount of money (just my opinion)

Some are given a salary, inorder to avoid the percentages. Percentages don't work well in the begining.

The per photoshoot work well too, if you can't do the salary.
