How about going along the softcore route, then when the fanbase builds up hit them with the "i'm not going hardcore" line. That way the buzz will build up if u announce it a few months before u release your first hardcore content.

There are models who end up going back to softcore after trying hardcore content, though. Faith Nelson and Midwest Mandy, for example.

Might be better to do a one off hardcore video.
