Commercial adult blogs with only text?

I don't mean personal blogs that talk about sex. I mean blogs that promote adult sponsors.

You mean with no pics at all, even in posts? Or just no banners? Because I'm running one right now with no banners at all, the sidebar is text links only and the only pics are in the posts (fhg links). It looks very neat and clean and I made two sales off of it already and it only got spidered by Google a few days ago.

I'd love to know if anyone is running one with no pics at all. I think it would be hard to entice surfers to read that much LOL

I was wondering if anyone has a blog where the posts are 100% text with no photos in any porn niche. I'm not really concerned with what is in the sidebar. I mean really long text posts to grab SE traffic.

But the intent is to promote porn sponsors.

This seems like a difficult concept to explain for some reason........lol. I guess I'm tired of doing the same old thing and want to try some 'out of the box' thinking.

The question is would such a blog convert that SE traffic? It seems the only way to find out is to try it and see.

you might get some newb webmasters signing up from your posts but anyone in the biz for a year (those likely to make you referral money) know about the boards and get their sponsor info there/here.

Well, a blog with really long text posts will definitely convert and bring the Search Engines scurrying to spider you, but I'm certain that it will convert better if you also include photos in your long text posts. It does not have to be a ton of photos or hardcore or even nude photos, but I would say at least a medium-size photo in most posts. We're selling a visual experience, so I think it takes tapping into that sensory experience in order to really make a connection. Grab the eye and the mind together.

Too much text on 1 page is not so good, so you might want to use a "click here to read more" link, which then displays the full story. If you have well written text then it will likely work, I'm not sure why it wouldn't work
