Do you take the time to market?
Like the title says: do you take the time to market your blogs, submit your blogs to linklist and get trades with other blogs or do you just build and wait for SE traffic ?
I noticed that a lot of bloggers on NP have hundreds or thousands of blogs. I assume these bloggers are satisfied with a low number of visitors per blog on a daily basis ? What do you consider a satisfying number of visitors ? I am curious.... __________________

I'm interested in this too.
Personally, I'm doing both and not seeing much difference in terms of traffic: a) Build a blog, update regularly with original posts, submit to directories, toplist entries, seek link exchanges etc. b) Build a blog using RSS feeds that update automatically plus recycle posts that resubmit after x days. I'm probably averaging 100 hits a day to each of my blogs (around 20 in total) which is not enough, but b is far less work and much more easily duplicated than a. |

I have my brother in law helping me with promoting the blogs. Basically, we try to submit each blog to directories/LL's and then work on link exchanges. It's boring but necessary... which is why I'm paying him to do it for me

Indeed there is less fun in promoting your blogs, but it is necessary.
I also tried both options and I figured that a well promoted blog makes me the same money as 6/7 less promoted blogs. IMO it is worth to market your blogs in the right way. __________________

i made a lot of pre work until i raise some blog... i make words research and check mine competition... and after that i start making blog.. with link exchanges and regular posts... and check how mine partners are sending traffic change them if i am not satisfied and find another one...

You should dump your link on some heavy traffic linklists to get the SE's to pick you up sooner.

It's necessary to promote and market your blogs... the better you do that the more traffic you will get and that means more money...
