How Much Traffic Do Most XXX Blogs Get?

Mine seem to get around 200 hits a day with around 1/3 to 1/2 being organic and the rest coming from directories and link dumps.

Is this lower than average? Am I not doing enough to generate traffic?

If I get 200 hits a day, how many blogs would I need to make to earn a living? About 100?

your traffic will very on which niche you are in, originality, and how much content you can provide. Also it depends on search engines, and such to pick up on this stuff.

Plus the age of the blog factors in also. I have a blog that gets close to 2000 hits a day just from google, but its like a few months old. Then I have another blog that gets around 1500 hits a day and its fairly new. I have learned that you can't totally rely on traffic because of the fact that you can get say 100,000 visitors to your site, but yet if noone signs up for anything then you make no money.

Also I found if you make money with a sponsor, and conversions are good, then focus on them. If after say 3 months or more, you dont make money with a sponsor then move onto another one.

Plusthe people around here are right about you having to be in the biz for 6 months or more before you start seeing real money. It sucks ass believe me, but it's true.

There is no average, splogs may make a couple dozen hits a day each for the time being, but as they get saturated it may just dwindle to nothing, a well maintained constantly promoted blog has no limit

To be honest I have no idea. I only count clicks now because my ratios are very stable. I get about ~1500 clicks per day.

Depends on each blog and its niche... but lets say around 200-300 daily per blog...

The average of my 7 or so blogs is about 150-300 per day, and my two best are doing about 450-500. I haven't exchanged hard links yet as I've been waiting for my blogs to mature. I'm assuming this is the main way to increase traffic (?)

Daily anywhere from 30 to 18,000. I do odd fetish stuff so many don't get a lot of hits but they do convert. Actually, many with the most hits (the most general niches) make less sales per click. Most freehosted blogs average 200-400 with big spikes when a fetish forum picks up one of my blogs.

if you keep running 200 hits from directory and you have only 1-2% SE traffic, than you would need around 2000 clicks to your sponsor to make a sale. it may wary however, but directory traffic is not the best traffic to have. that means you should have around 3000 hits to your blog to make a sale.

Traffic varies from day to day. I look more at weekly and monthly traffic stats.

my newest gets like 40 a day with no links just from being tossed around among all my blogs (connected with links). my best blog gets over 6,000 hits a day with nothing but a few link exchanges no directory traffic.

i dont know how old your blog is, but if its not that old and you just got that one. or 2..whatever.. you need to focus on getting more traffic. if it were me i would learn how to get more traffic to a few blogs before you go all out on tons of em. but thats just me. i dont do splog shit blogs.
im in it for the long haul and search engine optomization and quality sponsors n text is my main focus.

As I said in another thread your going to have to build SE traffic. Keep blogging and soon you will be getting 1k or more a day just from google

Digital Dreamgirls Blog gets a little over 15k uniques a day now and is steadily growing. I get about 3-5k unique se traffic daily. My trade script is open for about a week or so and it you want to jump on be sure you can send some traffic (even small sites are welcome) and get in on the list.

I wasn't addressing you personally, cemooo, and yours was not the only post on the thread.

I asked that question because even I've seen webmasters mix the two terms - hits and uniques - when they do not mean the same thing.

It wasn't directed at anyone, it was just a request for clarification.
