Review my Blog, Not getting traffic.
Hey everyone. I was wondering if you pros could give a newbie some advice? I launch my blog on 3/28/2007 and so far, I'm not getting any traffic at all, unless you include me. =)
The steps i have taken to generate traffic is submitting to blog directory and link dumps. But still, nobody interested in my blog. Would you guys my theme is not eye catching or their is something i'm not doing right? Please give me some advice... Here's my blog. http://truelifepornstar.thumblogger.com/ |

eKnine it doesn't look like you have traded with many other blogs yet or added your site to any toplists. Maybe give this a try??

AbsolutePorn - I have submitted to 31 blog Directories. Out of the 31, 8 has been accepted and the rest are still pending. I'm thinking about waiting another 2 week and if the rest directories doesn't respond back, I'm going to remove their link or try re-submitting or something.
lilpixie - I haven't done either that you have suggested. I'm definitely going to network and get some hardlink blog trading(i think that's whats it called) and i didn't know that toplists websites excited - I will do more re-search and submissions on that. Any sites you might recommend me submitting to? Thank you guys for the advice!!! I also have more marketing ideas, i want to ask you pros that i haven't seen people tried. i'll tell you guys when i get back... I'm hungry.... |

LOL... I figured it out! The reason why i didn't see any activity with google analytics, is because i forgot to add my tracking code. *Kicking myself in the head* So hopefully i'll be receiving traffic now.

Do a serach on netpond or google for blog toplists or toplists for your niche & get submitting!!

I would suggest you try writing your own blog posts.
It is easier to grow a blog with good hand written content compared to one that is feeded from rss feeds. It of course is more work, but it pays off in the end. __________________

If English isn't your first language I would say an rss feed would be better than badly written blog posts. Don't know what other peeps think?
