Moving A Wordpress Blog
I need to move around 50 blogs to a new server. I'm not totally sure on how to do this.
I backed up of my databases, and all my wordpress files. Then do I change the nameservers of the domain to the new host? Another thing I'm not sure about do I upload my backup database? I did this all awhile back with other sites but I don't remember what I did now, dealing with a lot of hosts has been quite the pain lately. __________________

if planned correctly, your host should be able to do it for you without any problems.

Best idea would be to have everything uploaded and tested to the new server before changing DNS over.

get one of those free php ftp scripts install it on your new server. and open your previos ftp address and install all of the files on your new server.
make database of same name and get your database backup from previous host and dump it in the new database. in theory this should work but i don't know about the practical. __________________
