I've just removed 300 blogs from the blog directories from 15 not honest webmasters

I've just removed about 300 blogs from the blog directories (actually 300*12) from 15 webmasters that didn't answered the question if they used handwritten blog posts honestly for multiple times.

Those 15 webmasters are now on the blacklist.

Lying about if you handwritten your blog posts or not is not fair to the people that are honest.

If your honest you won't get into trouble.

Some of them are also manipulating your referrer lists to Twan. I have looked at some that I know are cheating because that is the only way they could be on your referrer lists where they are with the sites they have and stay there. Look for 0 SIZE FRAME cheating as that is what some are doing. You should set all your sites with your referrer lists on them to break out of frames and you will see a big difference.

I'm going to take a peek at the toplists!

I agree that some of the blogs ranking high in the toplist are ugly blogs, but especially these ugly blogs seem to have a lot traffic. They do have better/unique content then the lower ranking blogs though, so that might be the thing what attracts surfers and what surfers like

Hi Twan, I've noticed some blogs ranking high in the top lists and often wondered why. Sometimes they only have a few posts, nothing very attractive about them or unique (so I can't imagine lots of surfers telling their mates 'hey, bud, get your ass over there and look at that splog'), so I don't believe they can have that much traffic, yet they are top.

Or maybe I am missing something.

Dunno.

It ticks me off when I see badly written blogs get top place when I write original content for mine.

I'm just speaking from what I have seen in the past. I have noticed recently that my blogs get more views now that you have started to seperate the dross from the more quality blogs.

Banning words doesn't work and in addition it has all kind of negative long time effects. At thumblogger the quality team does the job well for over 2 years. If you want to bring something to their attention send them a report by email (or click the report link at the bottom of the blog) which includes full story, prove and if possible official documents. They will then look into it and take appropriate action.

The 2 answers to the questions are quite clear i hope (after days of fine-tuning

)

- I write all my blog posts. (100% of my blog posts are handwritten = i typed every single character of my blog post text)
- I do not write all (or some) of my blog posts. (for example blog posts from 'RSS feeds', 'other blogs' or 'text copied from galleries')

You can see if your banned by entering a submitted blog in the blog submitter and pressing the Next button, make sure you enter the exact same url as when you submitted. Do this for a few submitted blogs to be sure.

Come on, you know as well as i do that none of the webmasters(!! - surfers, more like) that use usercash have a legitimate claim to any of the images they post. instead of having REAL webmaster having to prove that they own the pictures, get the $1 scroungers to prove that they own the rights to post the images at usercash before you allow them to use it on a thumblogger blog.
I get really pissed off when i make a blog, then see the same content appear on a thumblogger/usercash blog where that webmaster has no right to use the images and are only after a couple of cents for each view - as well as the pop-up nightmare it brings.
after all, its OUR sites that they cream the pictures from and its OUR sales they lose so they can get a few views.

The toplist are quite dynamic, most of them count incoming hits from 1 to 3 days. So if one bad blog gets listed on a big blog or one buys traffic, then it can easily reach the top of the toplist with a stragic placed recip (link) to the blog directory.

Feel free to send me a PM when you see something like you described and i will take a peek if he is cheating and if yes: kick his blog

I currently have 2 blog directories which only accept high quality blogs ( goldadultblogs.com and adultblogcloud.com ). I must admit that getting listed on the goldadultblogs one is really hard, but it is really worth it. I'm currently in the process of making the other blog directories have more quality as this topic demonstrates, but i haven't yet found the ultimate way to reward the quality blogs.

There are currently test running to filter "dead blogs" (that don't send 1 hit in x months). And there is already code in place to reward the better blogs with stars, a star will give your blog a certain benefit when a directory decides on where to place the blog. As you can see many plans!

Well i dont have any rss blogs. Just a question - do you accept rss blogs on your dirs? Do they get lower rankings or something at your directories?

Another question abou abc linking. You have some dirs (adultblogspider i guess) that send you hits based on how much you send to it. So if i do abc linking and choose that directory as one which will send me traffic I wont get any traffic fom it ( because in abc linking situation i wont be sending any traffic to it) ?

Yes, I figured that they could have bought a lot of cheap traffic and filtered it through their blog network so that they ranked high on the list rankings. Is this classed as cheating? Maybe, whatever it gives a wrong impression o
