Hi Jerry,

Is there a way to restrict the use of the plug-in on blog posts only? I don't want it to appear on my blog pages considering that they are for contacting, displaying legal informations as well as links trading between webmasters.

I am not 100% sure about what your asking - the WordPress plugin shows on all the blog post pages, but you don't want it to show on like the main wordpress index? Let me know if that is correct?? I will have to check on this for you and PM you back, I have a funny feeling a WP code tweak will be needed. Do you have a separate template code for your index pages versus your blog post pages?

No, what I meant is that, I want the the button to show up on my blog posts on the index page and on it's own separate page, but I do not want it to show on my blog pages.

Example:

I want it to show on my blog posts on the index and on it's own page:
Bumble Angelz
Coralie untying her sexy tight black corset | Bumble Angelz

But I do not want to show it on my blog pages (not blog posts):

Is it possible to do it or not?

Well it is here - The X-Digg Voting Button for your Word Press Blog / Site.

Simply ad the code, by placing the plugin in the default plugin directory ‘wp-content/plugins’ , and activate the plugin via the WP-admin ‘Plugins’ area. That is it - Now your X-Digg Voting Button will appear beneath each of your posts (or on top - you chose in admin section - V2), for your user to vote on there favorite stories. This plugin also detects incoming links from X-Digg.com to your wordpress post and automatically updates the voting as people vote for your stories on X-Digg. The higher the votes the better position your story gets on X-Digg.com

- Added the ability to remove the button on pages but keep the button on posts.
- Added the ability to keep the button on pages but remove the button on posts, for people that build galleries on pages and want to push their traffic there instead.
- New functions for more graceful error handling that guides users to the x-digg.com contact_us page, rather than making them guess who and where to contact. Also outlines the steps they need to follow to allow the debugger, whether myself or another contract worker, to diagnose the problem.
- Completely redid the permissions segment to finally squash the appearance of the dreaded "Dave" bug, This should make it easier for users to install and use out of the box.
-Tested the plugin on both a 2.3.3 and 2.6.2 version of WordPress. The rewritten code should also theoretically work on a 1.5 install, but I don't a have a copy of that, and most people should have long since upgraded from that anyways.

Hi I have a question! When I first installed the wordpress plugin everything worked great visitors were clicking the button to submit my post and pages and then all of a sudden I noticed that there was no more clicks showing (you know like 12, 21) on the button so I checked to see what was going on by clicking the button.....well it took me to a login screen so whats up with that does our visitors now have to have a membership to X-Digg to submit something or what?
Just seems what ever is going on its not good for us webmasters, because if our post and pages aren't getting submitted to X-Digg we might as well take your buttons down!

Can you help out with this problem?

As far as I know, surfers need a membership to X-Digg a blog post. But I may be wrong though as I have not known their services until recently.
