Any way to track referrers on a hosted wp blog?

So I have a bunch of freehosted blogs, some are doing better than others based on pagerank and traffic they send but it burns me that I can't see stats directly, because you can't edit the themes on 3rd party wordpress blogs obviously. Does anyone have a clever solution?

http://www.statcounter.com/ shows you the referrers, but not on the blog itself, but maybe that is better, cause you will otherwise end up with ref spammer in your referrer list. You can also add multiple counters to your account, so you will be able to quickly navigate to your referrers of different blogs. Google analytics is a nice on too

I use tracewatch, installed a second instance and I use that code to get stats for many free blogs
it works on any kind of blog where you can put a little javascript (thumblogger,xlogz,sensualwriter,netpondblog)
