WordPress 2.3.3 is an urgent security release. A flaw was found in our XML-RPC implementation such that a specially crafted request would allow any valid user to edit posts of any other user on that blog. In addition to fixing this security flaw, 2.3.3 fixes a few minor bugs. If you are interested only in the security fix, download the fixed version of xmlrpc.php and copy it over your existing xmlrpc.php.

anyway I downloaded the new version and will be using that for new blogs, but I let the old ones 2.3.2 with new xmlrpc file till the next important update is available

I can cope with one file changes, its when its a major release it sometimes becomes a nightmare.

Security is very important for your sites/blogs etc..., take care, because thousands of hackers are searching right now for sites that are vulnerable with that thingy.
Its a Remote SQL Injection Exploit, very easy to execute.

Dah, I just upgraded a blog today (to 2.3.2) and I log in and it says "Your wp is out of date, upgrade now!"

I installed the instantupdate plugin today and I am working on the update now.
There should be a built-in update feature!

Does anyone actually let people register on their blogs? I have always just turned the option to allow new users to register off and what the heck is MU?
