LB Since you are a SEO guy you will probably really like the features of Word Press's All in One SEO Pack plugin

It really makes adding all the metatags descriptions etc a breeze. I really dont look at wordpress as a blogging only tool its more like a CMS in which blogging is the foundation. You can still add Staic pages and with Google XML Sitemaps you can generate your site maps for google also.

Then there is backup tools and so many other features. So if you run your own server or have a shared server and the ability to install WordPress I think you should and play with it as much as possible.

The reason I plugged zipped plugins is that its a bundled set of plugins that is connected to the data bases of many of the Sponsors giving access to over 200K of galleries to post in your blogs. So its another tool that makes managing the blog a snap. If you dont want to or cant shell out the cash for some of the other blog managment software. You still can have some powerful tools at your finger tips.

I am by no means a master when it comes to blogging My actual degree is in networking and network security. Yet I have to say that wordpress and the plugins I use with it makes it actually fun to do when I was about ready to walk away from the adult side of the net and just go back to strictly main stream.

Senwolf thanks mate .. that is some great info. I will check out the plugins. Still a bit plugin shy as (and controlt my partner will back this up) ... I break everything I mess with. Wordpress does seem to be fairly LB safe.

Some things in wordpress really make SEO bad, so I will definitely check out the plugin for that.

LB the all in one seo pack is pretty decent for quick blog changes. the latest versions let you noindex a lot of dup. content as well as some other nice features. if your a bit more particular on your SEO control and still desire the speed of one touch changes, etc. I've seen a plugin known as SEO sniper. I looked into it, but couldn't bear the price. . . It wasn't worth that much to me, although you may find it different. It may offer a bit better work with onpage SEO for your blogs.

As for plugins, when it comes down to it most people use multiple blogs. The creation process gets a bit tedious and all those little plugins cutting time can come in really handy.

Are these sponsors with RSS feeds? not sure why they're in the list? I know a few on the list that don't have an rss feed that I'm aware of?

Most blog directories are a waste of time to me; they require a link from your homepage in exchange of a link lost in a far subpage with hundreds of other links. I've never seen any traffic from them either (except for 5-10 hits/day for a few days after being listed). I've found more profitable to find other good similar blogs and to ABC or ABCD trades.

I never link to FHGs (because that's too much content and because everybody does just that). I link directly to max 10 pictures. or 2-3 clips. My thumbrule is to never display more content in a post than in a TGP gallery and to always have at least 10-15 lines of text (some of my posts are over 50 lines).

Sorry for not replying to this sooner.

Zipped blogs makes adding to a FHG alot eaiser than a regular RSS Feed while you do have the ability to import from a RSS feed I guess a picture is worth a thousand words. So I will be adding a few to this section. If you look at the one I post here you will see that we can select the Niche and the sponsor we also have the ability to import from a RSS feed. I really do not know how they managed to combine all this all I know is that their system works and works quite well. You will also see the first available gallery to post. You can edit the title and also the text of the post. You can edit the category where the post will be posted. We see the picture that will be added to the post. and the check box where we select if we want that post imported and posted. Im my next post I will post a pic of a whole post section and explain it a little better hopefully. So here is the first pic where we select the niche the sponsor or choose to import a rss feed from a sponsor.

OK now I will post a pic of the actual post selection and editing section. Here you will see like before that we can edit the title,the category, select if we want to import the post. Then we see a box with a bunch of code. We can change the text that is inserted into the post there along with adding a more detailed commentary. Then you will see a section highlighted by a blue border. If we clicked that it would popup a new window showing all the photos of the gallery that we are going to be linking to with our post. We then have the ability to change the photo that is in the post. We can even select multiple pics to import. Then we have at the bottom the ability to set the date and the time in which the post is published to the blog. This gives you the ability to import 10 post in one day and set them to post for 10 consecutive days one post at a time. I hope this has cleared up any questions concerning the zippedblogs plugin. Now here is the pic.
