1)The tags for the post- Best solution would be to pull them off the rss feeds . . . or preset the tags for a default selection for a particular rss feed. Basically to post automatically requires that you lose a bit of command. I don't worry too much about the tags, I don't know how others feel so . . .

2)The category in which to post under, well have a default setting as well and alter if you wish. The way I see it is that most of my blogs are quite specific and post the same category. Plus many of the sites have limited categories to choose from. I have always felt the categories were very limited, so I don't feel as though I am loosing all that much here.

Thus in the end what I am saying is that to automate the submitter without any monitoring leaves choices that a program cannot make to easy (e.g.- Is this post about amateur or is this post about blow jobs?). So the solution imo is to offer the ability to do it with a setting option for each rss feed, and leave the choice up to the individual submitting.

If so then I can have blog A (which posts weekly on monday) always dump on SB sites as category amateur with tags pulled off the feed without me ever monitoring it, but blog B (which posts on monday) is not set to auto submit and I have to go into the submitter and set up the details if I want to dump.

I will also suggest and this would be a REAL BIG add on imo, to be able to set the submitter up to not only auto submit each feed as it posts on your blogs, but to have a settings option to either a)randomly select a percentage of sites to post to or b)presets for sites it dumps to on different days of the week (Thus Mondays auto submit rss feeds dump on X-digg and SocialSmut, but not Nipplebyte and Pornslapper, and Tuesdays vice versa). Now you have blogs that are posting on SB's randomly, look to be non-auto fed, and won't dump so much that your dumping 10 sites to each per day and the sites ban your profile submissions.

Over all that was the idea I had in my head about pulling tags from the RSS feed itself/having the person set them and having the person set the category for each feed.

As for the rest that is a very good suggestion and I'll get to work on seeing how quick I can have that in and working. I like that idea very much.

I have an idea...may be stupid...but...how about the ability to call up different custom lists of sites to submit to? For instance some sites want you to submit links to galleries and others want you to submit to blog posts. What if you could have list profiles you could call up instead of having to check and un-check the boxes next to the names?

Not stupid at all Should have this feature out tomorrow. That's what I like is getting feedback from you the user on what you need/want in the program.

Sounds great. It has been working so well for me that I still haven't upgraded from when I first brought it. The new features sound great tho. Awesome program.

i like the category ideas...

i do mainstream + adult, and have both types of social bookmarking sites, it would be awesome if i could categorize them.

This program does kick ass =] Free backlicks and decent text cant complain at all

for mainstream there are a lot of bookmarkers out there to do the job in a different way. I have a huge question for you, are you adding mainstream bookmarking sites to rhete's submitter? If so do you have a list of ones that add to the submitter?

I was going to begin working on it next week, i hate having multiple (paid) programs that do similiar things so im trying to keep it with Rhete's.

I have not added any yet, as i just got a list of some and will test them out =]

it should be simple thou, if the page uses a simliar bookmarking script then it should work fine =]

@ rhete, could we have the categories tightened up a bit please? for example if we choose "lesbian" then "lesbians" gets missed and so does "lesbian porn"
Also it really needs a "babes" category, i hope you see what i mean?
Apart from that its a totally fantastic tool and i dont understand why every blogger doesnt use it

Yeah top notch points on this. It starts to happen when you add extra directories to the list that they have mild variations.

hey there Rhete, nice to see you around and yeah this thread i started got really expanded

i see lots of updates on the proggie last few days, keep up the great work!

as about some suggestion from me:
- as i sent you by email, it would be nice to be able to sort the sites before submit, so for example the phpdug ones go first, as they mostly have captcha and then the rest.. so i type their captchas and leave submitter to submit to rest, so i can do some other work meanwhile..

- also would be handy to expand the window of the program and especially the status box, since when i select category from the autoprefill, i find it really hard to scroll that small box and see which sites the category was not found. Even would be lots more better if in the sites list on left, those sites get highlighted with different color or some asterisk added or whatever, so i can easily see them and manually choose category

yeah, just upgraded and noticed it

one more thing though.. To show the sites alphabetically in the lists would be great, coz its kinda time wasting to look for a site and needing to do a full scan to see where it is..

This will be fixed in version 3 A lot of big changes are coming in version 3 for the better and I'm sure everyone will love the new version once it's out. I know I don't want to seem like I'm putting it off but I want to focus on the new version as much as possible so that it can be released soon and have everything and more in it.

I can make the box bigger, but since a lot is going to be changing with the new version, don't want to say what exactly, but the interface will be changed around for the better.

I might go ahead and put this one in also as It's really something simple to add in since I have the code for it basically already there.

I'll see about getting those 2 things changed and a small update released for it since it should only take about 10 minutes or so to get it done.

I can't say *EXACTLY* when version 3 will be released but if everything stays on schedule, I'm aiming for an end of the month/first week of April release, but that's just a rough guess right now and that's if I don't run into any problems, which so far I haven't.

As for my program working with normal social bookmarking sites: If they are running the software my program supports (Pligg, PHPDugg or those on the corank network) then yes it will work with them.

Thanks for working on it Rhete. I've experienced a few that have disappeared after releasing their programme and the update that never came. You are going to make some money out of this and rightly so.
