do you use the social bookmark submitter?

I am considering on purchasing the proggie at Adult Social Bookmarking - Software for Adult Webmasters

I found a link to it in some thread in here, and wanted to see if someone uses the paid version and how it performs. As i tried the demo and looked at the paid version, program looks promising, but will highly appreciate any feedback

i use it and like it very much, it does have some minor problems such as not "timing-out" and moving on to the next submit if the social bookmarker site is experencing problems and not reporting back if the submit gets refused but then it is still an early release, The programmer has been rather quiet of late so i hope he hasn't stopped working on it.

BTW remember to add Indecent Bookmarks - View All to your submit database

I've payed for it yesterday, im waiting for the license key... allready weeded out the bookmarking sites with a php redirects. I expect a lot from it

rogue, forgot to ask you, how easy it is to add new sites to its database? Probably thats one of the most important features for me. From the demo i see you just add url,user,pass and does it automatically scan the categories and etc or you need to do it yourself? Also is the adding of new sites working fine or it won't work on most sites i will try to add?

I was lucky and managed to get it before he doubled the price. It's an incredible timesaver. I don't submit for traffic tho...moreso for SEO. It's a great tool. I only tried to add a site once with a earlier version and the program just hanged. Haven't tried since. I submit to about 19 of the 24,25 sites that come with the program. I don't submit to ones that use capchta. Keep saying one day gonna download the newest version and try adding sites but it's been workin great so I never get around to it yet.lol

I've been a happy user of it since it came out. Actually, he let me beta test it before he started selling it. I can happily say that it is an awesome tool. I too only use it for SEO purposes as it helps my sites get indexed much quicker, but the traffic is also nice. It's extremely easy to add new sites as you just need to know if they are either PHPdugg or Pligg, the site address and your username and password. The program will go to that site and pull all necessary info in order to add the new site to the database.

I will say that the owner of this program hasn't been around for about a month now. He may have had something come up or is busy doing other things, but he is a good guy and like I said, this program does rock.

as bobsbetterboob said, its easy to add PHPdugg or Pligg sites but having said that, i've noticed a few problems lately with some Pligg sites, i'm not sure if its because of the version of Pligg used or because they had it in a folder.

Ive transferred the money to his epassporte account on wednesday, and this ( friday ) morning I had an email from him with the license key. He was unable to receive epassporte messages for some kind of reason!?

Bought several weeks ago, got the license in a couple of days.
Adding sites was extremely easy, but what I couldn't do was to add sites that aren't on a domain but on a subdomain or in a folder.
I've did a test submit see how it works, I'm still not sure if its good or not, checking now to see if the submit went through to all sites.
What I don't like is that you can only use quite short urls, i guess something shorter than 120 characters and because BO blogs is generating the posts pages with all your word titles in it, those can be quite long, especially if you're using long titles like i do. Almost hit the submit button at the test submit with one long title, but was inspired enough to recheck the url in the preview and submit screen and realized that the program was cutting my url so i was about to submit a 404 page. Be careful with that.
Everything else looks good.

And that's what its all about. I've been using it for about 2 mos. I've added about 10 sites to it, but it took a little bit of figuring out, AND NOT ALL SITES ARE ADDABLE. Only those that are written a particular way. Bunda if you want a list of site that can be added PM me.
Certain sites add backlinks, some are just a waste.

As for traffic, let it go. Don't plan on seeing much traffic. . . .and those out there who grab traffic, there is some truth to it, but in my opinion don't bother, the traffic sucks for the effort. If it comes it comes if not no sweat.

I've had my fare share of front page traffic from nipplebyte and social porn, etc. but it doesn't stay long or convert. . . and blah blah blah someone is going to go off about maybe it doesn't work for you, etc. Maybe your site sucks, etc. But I don't think any traffic converts as well as SE traffic, so grab the value from the submitter in backlinks

At the end of the day its worth it for repeated backlinks to your all your blogs pages, and indexing in no time. Traffic is just a bonus.
