Firestats and Google Analytics are what I use for my stats, they are both good.

For my primary blogs I use Analytics, and for splogs just nothing. I can check the stats from the sponsorm and it's enough for me.

I like Statcounter because it tells you the visitors in real time. I tried Google Analytics once and found it a piece of garbage, too complicated to use for me.

I've found statcounter to be very inaccurate especially if you use one project across several blogs. I've not found a reliable way of tracking stats across several blogs. I stick with AWStats but I'm limited to stats for one blog at a time.
