What are the best ways to get traffic to your blog?

So far I have joined about 10 directories , done only 1 link trade with a good friend, & tryed to do as much key wording for the search engines as I can.
My blogs updated daily. Here it is Only The Best Boobs From Us To You any ways i can get more traffic advice would be a great?

Simple answer is build more blogs. You need to have a least 10 blogs before you even make your first sale these days.

I don't join blog directories, I build a blog, make a few posts and shelve it for 2-3 months. I then start on the next doing the same thing. I do make the odd blog post to keep it ticking along, maybe 1 a week allowing Google to spider it and adding the odd inward link or link exchange. Then around the 3-4th month I start hitting it hard and the traffic comes in naturally from the search engines.

Not everyones way of doing it I accept but I try to always think several months ahead, I never expect or go for the instant hit. The blog directories throwing traffic at you that dies a couple of weeks in and a month after that you are buried deep within their pages never receiving a hit again but with a ton of directory traffic links in your blogroll.

Yeah this is starting to really frustrate me. I've been blogging since the first of the year and have 6 hand written blogs. They're all softcore babe type blogs which I hear are a hard general niche to convert BUT it's the traffic I'm more worried about. I really feel like I'm either doing something terribly wrong OR I just haven't given my blogs enough time to really catch on with the search engines. I'm starting to take the "build more blogs" approach but that seems like a lot of work when my first six don't seem to being too well. I just need more traffic one way or the other to make some sales. Wow sorry that sort of turned into a wine fest. Guess I'm just looking for the same advice.

How much traffic you have from SE? How old is your blog? I think you need to wait 6 months till you will get decent SE traffic. Post every other day and make more blogs. Do some link exchanges, directories won't help you. Just wait and make more blogs, this will help you the most

Rvince has a thread on how to make money with blogs. He says keep handwriting 1 post per day and post it on one of your 4-7 blogs.

Keep linkbuilding steadily next to this, and you'll be getting SE traffic on your blogs after a while. You'll be making $1000 per month after a year.

I've been doing what he says for a month or two now. I'm gonna keep this up until I become successful at it.


For all you guys who write dozens of blogposts per day: how much are you making with all that hard work?

I've been adding new log enteries almost everyday. think I need to do more link trading & link dumping. I have a list of 6 other thing I can do tlo get more taffic to my blog as well. Feel free to add your top 10 ways to make money blogging & get traffic to it.

Nice blog but WHY did you host it on free blog service. You could take some cheap hosting (at HostGator for example starting $4.95/m) and than install WordPress there (couple a clicks using Fantastico), and then start some real blogging.

My second question is why are you using full size images on your blog. You should resize them to size needed using some prog (ACD See, Photoshop, Gimp) and then upload them somewhere. This will increase loading speed of your pages.

The blog looks good and I if you move it to some real hosting I might be interested in link exchange.

I've noticed the same from directories very low amounts of traffic.. What are the next best ways linking to other bloggers? Link dumping? The Seo I already understand will take some time. I'm looking for some ways to get traffic faster.

Link Trades Link Trades LINK TRADES!!! That is the #1 traffic producer for me along with submissions to places like the Hun and PK etc. Funny thing about those damn stat counters though not a damn one of them beats the AWSTATS on my servers. Now I also am using Zipped blogs and while some I hand write and others I just let the posting fly via what ever the sponsor titled and input. I have a 60% book mark and return rate so I guess I cant really complain to much in that area. Yet when it comes to traffic its all in the link trades for me they out do the Search Engines by 3 or 4 visitors to 1 ratio.
